Lucian Bute - Robert Stieglitz unification possible?

Dawson's not even available, so why bother bringing him up? And while Hopkins called out Bute, I'll believe it when I see it. Hopkins ain't travelling to Montreal to fight, and Hopkins doesn't draw well enough for the fight to make money anywhere else.

I swear to god, some people just like complaining for the sake of complaining. If Bute fights Stieglitz and then his mandatory (probably Bika), then since the Super Six started, Bute will have fought four of the top 5 SMWs who weren't invited to the Super Six. But people will still find a reason to complain.

 

I thought Universum still had options on Stieglitz. He was listed on their website until recently anyway.

 

Stieglitz, Sartison and Brinkley would be the three possible opponents.
Again, let's hope Stieglitz accept. I doubt.

No but there was a strategic partnership in the case of Stieglitz for quite some time and because he had beaten Balzsay in a voluntary defense Universum got options as far as i remember on the next three Stieglitz fights. Which was a win-win situation since SES cant even afford opponents like Miranda..

Gutknecht who was a mandatory, Balzsay and Wilaschek have been with universum at the time when they fought Stieglitz.

Romanian people seem to be sure of holding a Bute fight on July. I'm not so sure. Last time I heard Bédard, he was saying "could". If Bute has bigger fish to fry, he won't fight in Romania in July. HBO won't be there in July. HBO could be there in August and show Bute-whoever on the Pascal-Dawson undercard. Nothing more, in my opinion. If Bute, has nothing interesting, he could go in Romania for a stay busy fight. Without HBO.

 

Anyhow, Bute still makes a bundle with a fight in Romania, with or without HBO.
