I hope the fight comes off. The economic side of it would seem to make sense, the bout being contested in Romania makes it favorable for German television, and it could be broadcast at 4-5 in the afternoon in Quebec. A unification fight always attracts interest, and Steiglitz is a capable fighter. I'd favor Bute in this, but I like the fight.

Well if it were held at 11 or 12 in Romania it would be 10-11 in Germany, and about 4-5 in the US and Canada.

It has, but I can't remember who off the top of my head. The WBA just strips the regular champ though.

This is a good fight and I hope it happens but it still odesn't determine who's the best at 168. That is being determined in the S6

Bute knows what he says when he says: 'It's not up to me'......'if there's involvement..........' in a tone of voice not granting his country much chances of holding such an event worthy of HBO.
I would be very surprised if it happened..........but nah.
On the other hand Stieglitz would be decent fight and keep him ready
for whomever he'll fight after that. Bute would still knock him out though.

Guys what about this fight being held in Germany. It's a win-win situation: Bute unifies and the German boxing fans will get to see a real fighter in him.

that would make it at least more interesting even some kind of thrilling since Stieglitz could win by decision after Bute ko´ed him..:think

LoL ... it is his wish to fight in Romania
Let me explain ...it will be like this :
Imagine you want a 3some with 2 girls ...and you get only 1 partner ...and that's a MEN!!! :rofl:rofl:rofl

If Stieglitz only accept to fight him in Germany the the fight in Romania will be against Sartison , Brinkley ...etc. And maybe after that he'll go to Germany

It is mandatory that before Stiegltiz fights Bute to unify, he must fight Edison Miranda. All must go through the gate before fighting each other! :nut
