Bute is the only one who put granite chin Andrade to the canves and, more of that, he finished him in 4 rounds. Kessler needed 12 hard rounds to beat him when he was in the shape of his life. I think that now Andrade beats the new Kessler easily.

Bute is the only one who finished even an improved version of Miranda in just 3 rounds when Ward, Abraham and Pavlik have a lot of more work to do to beat him.

This Ward needed 12 rounds with Miranda and beated a puppet Kessler version ugly and is considerated so freakin' special. Unbelieveble !

    Open your eyes people.

Kessler was fighting guy like Patrick Rubers for his 20th fight and the guy is 9-9, Bute was fighting Sakio Bika 22-2......:patsch

kessler fought and beat the top SMW ranked contenders before he fought calzaghe while calzaghe was fighting stiffs.

bute had to rematch someone kessler had already dominated whikle the super sixes were already flying...

    context.

Incorrect a long count against Andrade "redeemed" by a knockout and a knockout against Edison Miranda does not put you top of the pile sir.

Mundine, Lucas, Beyer, Andrade (Kessler was 38-0 for Andrade). Context!

All those who still take into consideration that last round from the first fight with Andrade are complete jokes. From that moment till today Bute made a huge progress looking better and better, making hard to beat fighters like Zuniga, Andrade and Miranda to look foolish, like amateurs beating them 4, 4, 3 rounds ! This is huge !

bute will not be the best at 168 until he proves it like these current super six fighters are doing. i'm sorry but what has bute done to warrant being number one?

It would have been a good thing to put Bute in the super 6.He is a good fighter but i think people are giving him a little too much credit on here. His best win is Andrade who almost beat him.Kessler has already beaten Andrade.Because Bute is not in people will be saying he would have won it all the way through.Bute cant really get a fight that means anything whilst the super 6 is on so we will have to wait and see what happens when its over.

So Bute is now the best SMW based him beating guys that the fighters in the Super Six have already trashed? Look at the guys in the Super Six except Green. They've only lost to eachother and Calzaghe. Bute is a good fighter. However, he's fighting leftovers. He's fighting straight ahead, no frills, punchers.

Who is the best guy that he beat? Andrade? Bika? He's fought no one. I don't see anyone in the Super Six that he's definately more talented than except Green. Kessler, Froch, Abraham, Ward, and Dirrell, would all stand a good shot at beating Bute. So let's recap, Bute is fighting Super Six leftovers, he hasn't beaten anyone, he's fighting the same type of guys that are tailor made for him every fight it seems like, and there are multiple fighters at SMW that are arguably better than him. No why exactly is he the best SMW?

Miranda who had been KOd twice previous, and had lost twice to AA, to Pavlik and to Ward. Not exactly a world beater.

Butes stamina could still be in question, as his 1st fight with Andrade was probably the first where someone has applied heavy pressure and punches into the 12th round.
Lets not pretend the count wasnt long, and even if Bute was on his feet at 8 as you say, the rules are a fighter has to be in a position to continue, which Bute wasnt, his gloves werent up and he was using the ropes (leaning on them) to stay up, which is also against the rules, so maybe Butes chin is in question?

    .

He was gone against Andrade in their 1st fight

I like Bute alot and am a fan of him, but lets not get carried away. I know boxing is hit and not get hit, but when you talk of Butes offence he seems very cautious and timid about what may come back, that isnt a bad thing as he shouldnt get hit if he can help it but does have a nervousness about him to me, though I do enjoy watching him.
I think Bute is the #1 SMW at this time, though that could change, with the super 6, and agree with you that id favour Bute over the other SMWs at this time, and hope he can still find good opposition whilst the super 6 is happening, I read he may get a fight with the WBO champ Steiglitz and theres WBA regular champ Sartison (the winner of that one would become the WBAs 2nd super champ in the division... cough cough).
But lets not get ahead of ourselves yet with Bute, his competition hasnt been the best at this time

No, none of that is in the rules, you're making it up. Rules just say he has to get up and once he has done so and his gloves are clear of the ground the fight is over.

I like Bute and I think he would be the fav to win the S6 but these guys are fighting each other and picking up loses while Bute is fighting guys a level below.
