There needs to be an investigation in to the scoring of Froch vs Kessler!

There can be absolutely no arguments whatsoever about the decision. Infact maybe I should reword that, there was no robbery and the decision was very fair. I had Kesselr winning by 2 rounds. The 5th round aside Froch didnt win a single round clearly, Kessler for me won 4 clear rounds. Every other round was pretty close and subjective to which way it went. If you support Froch then quite clearly you gave all the close rounds to him.

Like it was pointed out, Froch and his fans can't moan about hometown decisions and then just disregard the Dirrell decision, which in my opinion was a much tougher fight to score and more controversial outcome.

I'm not sure what all of the uproar about the decision is. 117-111 was off, but the fight could have gone to either guy.

Froch gave away the fight from the 6th round and was just not busy enough.

As soon as the fight was over I gave it to Kessler.

Since the pascal fight and the ko over JT, his head has been up in the clouds.

He needs to work is arse off and throw a lot more, Kessler was there for the taking and he didnt take it.

I agree with the thread title, in a way...

I'm a Froch fan and of course wanted him to win, but I'm ok with the result. If I'd been judging the fight I'd have given it to Kessler too.

The judges' scores themselves don't bother me. Even Tillerman's 117-111, whilst I didn't agree with it, wasn't beyond the realms of possibility. There is so much subjectivity in Boxing, if a round is close you're going to score the round in favour of the fighter whose style you favour (assuming you choose not to score even). If several rounds are close, you're going to score most of them to the same fighter, and that's fine. So with that in mind, 117-111 wasn't that ridiculous in my view.

That subjectivity thing is one of the reasons I love boxing. It's the reason why us boxing fans have the best debates of all sports fans (in my opinion).

But... someone posted on here earlier today saying that Tillerman scored rounds 11 and 12 to... Froch! I can't reconcile that. I mean, he gave rounds 1 and 3 to Kessler, and 11 and 12 to Froch. Does anyone else think that's, well..., ****?

I just think there should be some kind of come-back on that. I think it's appalling that a judge can put a card in like that and then just go home and nothing more is said. It would be even more appalling if that same judge was to be called upon again to judge a professional fight.

I don't know... I just think it's wrong, and I've got a bee in my bonnet about it today. As I said, I think the result overall was the right one, but that's not the point...

Great post. I don't agree with the 117 - 111, but I can see why the scum scored it that way.
I can also see why 'you' scored the fight for Froch. But calling for an investigation or calling it a robbery is just stupid.

Why didn't you ask for an investigation for Dirrell vs Froch?, Hatton vs Tszyu(that doesn't even need an investigation, the referee needs to be sliced into two and all the people attended and cheered need to be gassed immediately) and endless other similar fiascos in England?, because they favor your choice?. Drink some more then consider jumping out the window.

It might not be a bad idea to have reviews of all fights so that judges can be scored and educated as needed.

Look who's pretending to be a humanitarian now. Didn't those mother ****ing garbage cheering for Hatton's illegal tactics from start to finish wish for Tszyu's death too?, didn't they cheer every single rabbit punch, low blow, elbow, shoving and so on?

A comment hurt your ass yet obvious cheating in a rough BOXING MATCH wasn't an "all-time low" now was it?

You have a point that scoring is bull**** these days and refs are inadequate!
Having said that i thought kessler won 115-113. It was a close fight but i didnt think froch had enough workrate to win.

I think there SHOULD me some kind of quality control for judges especially in world title fights if one fighter has home advantage.

But you have to remember if kessler had lost in england he would be saying the same things. so the only solution is only have fights at neutral locations? but that takes away a lot of the atmosphere! so SOMEONE has to be at home. but there deffinetly should be better judging.

If you consider that one judge scored it 117-111 then it begs the question EVEN if froch had shown more workrate and did enough to win, what score would this judge have given? It could suggest that froch was doomed from the start but well never know because in my eyes Kessler won a close but clear decision.

But thats the sad reality in boxing these days the home fighter HAS a clear advantage. So the away fighter has to do so much more to win the fight. that goes everywhere not just in Denmark.

We just have to accept that im afraid and hope one day we have judges who score the fight much more fairly.

What is your beef, christ someone disagrees with you and they should commit suicide, Dirrell lost the fight when it was there to be won, his own fault if im honest. Hatton was beating Tszyu up regardless of the fouls, if your going to bring that up then we should bring up Ward vs Kessler:good
