I think Bute might beat Froch up worse than anyone else in the division could. Think of the Taylor and Dirrell fights, and then factor in better coordination than Dirrell, better stamina than Taylor, and way more power than either.

Yeah I'm quite stunned that he choose Bute over Kessler considering he didn't thought much of him since he choose Miranda against him.

He doesn't have way more power than those two, definitely not. I bet Dirrell can hit like a mule when he actually sits down on his punches, which is rare that he does, and the one fight he constantly did was against a russian midget with a thick as **** beard.

Taylor can punch, like I said, he may not sit on all of his shots but his combination of speed, placement, and strength give him a damn good chance of KO'ing anyone he catches clean at the weight.

I dont think Bute would KO Kessler but I do think he would knock Froch out.I know this word is overused on ESB but to me,Froch is really OVERATED.But its still amazing how far he went. The guy got absolutly NO defense,he git hit way too much.Fortunatly he got a good chin but he has been hurt in his last few fights(down against Taylor, hurt against Dirrel,Hurt against Kessler),and i dont know how long it will hold up.His chin might get cracked against Abraham.Wich I believe will be the first to KO Froch.

BTW im not hating, its just my opinion.

It's overrated, and how overrated was he really? Besides a few fanatical Nottingham posters everyone depicted him as slow, sluggish and fleet footed.
If anything, his resume says he's underrated.

Being the only guy to KO Andrade is not enough for you?He definitly got way more power than those 2.Dirrel may hit like a mule when he sit on his punches, but when does he do it?Not often thats for sure. And Taylor,he is a decent puncher but nowhere near as hard as Bute.If you cant see that,I dont know man, watch more fights and compare

Carl Froch is underrated! And no easy fight for anyone at 168!

I don't know what I believe would happen, perhaps a relatively close decision going either way. But then again, the way Andrade came on strong against Bute and clearly rocked his whiskers, why couldn't Froch do the same and even stop him?

Froch has beaten the likes of Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell (arguably) and fought a close one with Kessler. Who did Bute beat, c'mon?

Froch has the better track record, has shown to be a champion of true calibre, a champion that does not rely on hometown advantage to regain his crown. Bute on the other hand, is an exlusive hometown fighter whos fought nothing but C to B level opposition.

Bute beats both. The only guy Bute may lose to is Ward and maybe Dirrell.

    Taylor isn't KO'ing anyone at super-middleweight.

I think Bute beats them both. Froch was complaining about Kessler's bodywork and we all know how unreal Bute's left uppercut is, especially to the body. I think Bute breaks Froch down and takes him out late.

I think both Ward and Dirrell trouble Bute though, and Bute-Abraham would be a war.
