I think most of you getting upset fail to read into mocking sarcasm when it comes to Pavlik beating Hagler let alone dominating him. There are people out there who actually believe he stood a chance against Marvin but they don't even have enough bran cells to log on and type their opinion. The Marvelous one had an ATG iron chin, great boxing ability, savage fighting instincts at any range, and if he got you in trouble you were finished. If Sergio Martinez could do what he did to Kelly then Hagler could do similar and even stop Pavlik late(Marvin could rip the body like few others, and his modest height meant he could do so and be even less of a target to counters than Sergio was. The damage he would do to Kelly's midsection would break him down) I see a Pavlik fight with Hagler mirroring the Mugabi fight. Kelly blasts Hagler with heavy artillery early only for Hagler to adjust and grind him down to a stump late.
I know that I've already picked Pavlik to beat a prime Tito at MW but Marvelous Marvin is a different story as he has a proven track record of overcoming height/reach advantages. Couple this fact with his southpaw style and you've got a one-sided fight.

Ok Ok now I did pick Pavlik to beat Tito at MW for the very reasons you've already stated but Hagler is a different story altogether. Hagler was a world class southpaw brawler who was also a TRUE MW with the proven ability to overcome size/reach disadvantages. Please reference his fight with Hearns for any further questions...
I seriously hope those who pick Pavlik to KO Hagler are having a joke. If not you should dig up some footage of teh marvelous one & watch closely................then you'll realise that Kelly would get brutalised by Marv. Similar to Hopkins beatdown.
That was a sarcasm post, he doesn't really think Pavlik beats Hagler. I'd also call Hagler a boxer who had the versatility brawl rather than a brawler. The boxing mode is how he fought most of his fights. He'd beat Pavlik in either style though.
