Its obvious SDfinest is a sour loser who can't predict fights for ****, even if his family's life depended on it. Just take your lumps son, instead of embarrasing yourself. You keep yacking and Adamek keeps winning. He's been in the division half the time than Haye's stay, and yet has managed to accomplish at least as much.

I don't think Adamek will have near the power at heavy most were expecting.

Haye's brutal power brought up from cruiser up to heavy was still impressive and very effective at heavy. Adamek, not so much, as his power was never like Haye's. But Adamek is a very tough, well conditioned fighter with good skills.

He'll compete with all but the top three or four heavies.

Brutal power against who? Senior citizen Ruiz, who an old Golota was knocking down going backwards 8 years ago? Even if Haye did bring up his power (and there's not enough evidence of this simply because Haye has been facing hasbeens and hasn't been active enough), Adamek more than makes up for this with his iron chin. IMO some of those shots Adamek took vs Arreola, would have turfed Haye flat on his back. I mean, the guy was down vs. an old Barret which is laughable.

Adamek was supposed to KO guys Vitali and Povetkin couldnt to make his mark.I dont recall Adamek ever being known as a murderous puncher.I always thought of him as a Boxer with good pop.

Nice that you supply the 94 rankings.

Obviously I ment CIRCA 15 years ago, not exact, that's just stupid.
Mid 90's 93-97 had Tyson, Lewis, Holyfield, Bowe, Mercer, Morrison, McCall, Moorer, Ibeabuchi, Tua, Ruddock, Golota and Foreman.

Compare that with the last couple of years, K2, Haye, Adamek, Arreola, Chagaev, Povetkin, Valuev, Peter, Thompson, Chambers, Boystov and Dimitrenko.

Mid 90's, what a "horrible" time for HW's:lol:

90's were ****ing awesome. I actually think they were probably on par if not, better than the 70's.

Do you think Adamek and Haye would be top 5 HW's during that period Vodka?

Personally I think neither would dare to move from CW.

Who cares. They're on top of the heap right now and all this glorification of the past in comparison to the present is a) speculative b) convinient romanticizing, considering US fighters just happened to be on top then. I don't recall the top 10 or top 5 in the 90s at any time, being anything special anyways. Americans just felt good about seeing US fighers on their screens and having the US media full on board with excitement. Now, all of a sudden the NFL and the NBA has magically stolen all the potential US atheletes, as if these other sports didn't exist in the 90s or 80s or the 70s (when Eastern Euros didnt even compete because of an actual legitimate reason...i.e, the Iron Curtain). Pathetic excuse making and oh so predictable.

I'm Scottish, what has Americas perception of the HW rankings got to do with me? I couldn't give a toss, so why bring it up exactly?

Convienient romanticizing? Gtfo with that crap, LOOK at those names.
If you don't see that list I wrote being more dangerous, or "nothing special" then that's your opinion, but you're wrong in my book and probably 90%+ of others.

As soon as Tyson (the best fighter of the 90s) faced stiff comp, he folded like a lawn chair. Tyson's legend is the benefactor of a steady diet of crap opposition. The 90s are no better than what we have now. Frankly, I don't know whether a prime Tyson would have KTFO Adamek (perhaps he would, but then again Adamek has never been knocked out and we don't know the extent of his chin) but if he wouldn't been able to, I'll take Adamek on the cards.

No. Tyson's legend is overblown. In his prime he faced two top notch fighters and the rest were bums or mediocre fighters, most of whom were scared of his shadow so he was never really tested until Holy. IMO Tyson would have had some trouble, with smart, skilled, mobile, iron chinned fighters like Adamek, who could possibly take him past 6 rounds and then win it on the cards. Of course, those like you who have immortalized Tyson won't want to hear it. Fact is, the 90s are not an exceptional era for boxing and I view K-bros accomplishments and Tyson's as being on thesame level.

    Wrong.

The man in my avatar is the man I immortalize, but for the record, Tyson would **** Adamek up, and badly.

And the 90's is known as the best era in boxing along with the 70's, I don't know where you get this stuff.
