povetkin vs adamek??

    Adamek is more tested and faster so I'll lean towards him.

    Haven't seen much of Povetkin, so I'll have to go with Adamek.

    BTW , the deadline of the IBF to the camps of Klitschko and Povetkin to reach an agreement expired yesterday... Any news ?

    I'm picking Adamek. I am guessing Povetkin is showing quite a few flaws is training that is preventing his handlers from matching him agressivley. Adamek is a guy who beats guys like that.

    No Povetkin doesnt stop Adamek. Adamek likes to fight with punchers. When somebody is trying to knock him out, then Adamek avoids this, being the smarter one. Povetkin can win this one only by boxing, not by punching.

    It could go either way, but I will go with Adamek decision. To be honest we dont know how far Adamek can develop at HW. Beating Arreola doesnt mean he beats Povetkin automatically :think

    Hard to call this one. I think Adamek probably wins it on movement and handspeed, but Povetkin can certainly beat him. Like Keith said, I think there's something we don't know about AP which is keeping him from stepping up. It leaves a question mark anyway

    It would be a great fight though :bbb:happy

    Well I hope they didn't reach an agreement. I'd love to see Wlad fight Haye, Adamek, or even Harrison. I'm still wondering if Haye's afraid of wlad.

    And to answer this thread I'd say Adamek would probably beat Povetkin.

    povetkin is one of the most overrated havies now so I give him no chance against Adamek

    his ducking klits is disgraceful, and changing the oponent 3weeks before fight is a joke

    Wlad-Harrison actually makes some sense in a build up to Wlad-Haye. It'll really promote their fight if Wlad blows Harrison away in the early rounds

    Wlad-Haye needs to happen soon though, its really holding up the division in a way

    I'd actually like to see this fight happen...in a perfect world we'd get Wlad-Haye, and Adamek-Povetkin would be a logical fight to make in order to determine the most deserving challenger.

    Tough call.
    Povetkin is tough, technical, hard-working, and has an OK punch. Good fighter.
    Adamek is tough, technical, hard-working and has an iron chin. Good fighter.

    I can't see Povetkin knocking out Adamek, but he WILL hit him quite a lot. Adamek doesn't have the punch to take out his opponent, being more of a cruiserweight or light-heavyweight than a "true" heavyweight, but he'll move and slip, and use his experience to hit Povetkin more.
    Adamek by a close UD, I think.
