I don't see how Donaire gets into top 10's these days he's been in with **** poor opponents since Darchinyan

What's wrong with putting Adamek in a P4P list?

Maybe a bit high on reflection..... but after losing to Dawson he moved up to cruiser, beat the best fighter there plus two stoppages over top 5 contenders.... then moved to heavyweight and has three wins..... one of them was a bit of a joke fight but you can't question the other two.

Dawson's not exactly set the world on fire..... getting a dodgy decision against Johnson the first time, beating a faded Tarver then rematching him :huh and then Johnson again.

Obviously a very good fighter but I just don't see what many others seem to see.....

I think Martinez deserves it, his last 2 fights have been against much bigger guys and he's done well

I never understood how hopkins making somebody come up in weight to fight him put him so high P4P tbh, it was a great ACHIEVEMENT considering his age but thats totally different to p4p.

    1. Pac
    2. Hopkins
    3. Shane
    4. Floyd
    5. JMM
    6. Williams
    7. Martinez
    8. Wlad
    9. Haye
    10. Hasegawa

Now, I usually take out people that have been inactive. Hopkins is the 2nd most accomplished fighter around today but has done little of late (and no, the Jones fight doesn't really count, as much as it meant to B-Hop personally) and Shane has also been inactive for a long time. Hence why Vasquez is also absent.

So if you take those out, Floyd would be 2nd. I'm not that sure that he's technically the best, because on his day, Hopkins is a true master who's actually fought the best, so has proved his skillset far more IMO.

Dawson is knocking on the door, no doubt. Calderon is someone I'm still big on, but needs another win to prove he's not on the slide (although the Mayol draw/points win don't look so bad after Mayol went on to annihilate Sosa)

Donaire is not getting a shout. Darchinyan is still on the fringes, needs another decent win to prove he isn't slipping also. I like Hasegawa's consistency and blowing away of his mandatories; I'm pretty sure he'll batter Montiel so that will cement him in the top 10 IMO.

In these days of 'super fights' and cherry pickers it's harder than ever to pick a concrete top ten IMO.
