Both Kessler and Froch had only 20% of their punches landing in their fight, and that's not because Froch is a master defensive boxer! No boxer will beat Bute with that kind of stats.

Nobody boxes with his two arms and his chest at the same time. In fact, if your chest is large, that means that your back hand has more distance to go before touching your opponent. That's why we need Froch's arm length to measure what kind of an advantage he has in terms of real reach.

Anyway, you have to be slick to use a reach advantage. Slick does not fit well with Froch, does it?

That's just silly talk!! The fight progressed in a way that didn't exactly favour technical boxing. Mostly because Kessler fought out of his element by pressuring Froch onto the backfoot.

A fight between Froch and Bute or Kessler and Bute would look very different.

Neither Froch nor Kessler will be outclassed by Bute. Both fights would be competitive. I favor Bute over Kessler and Froch over Bute. Very slight favorites though.

Just my opinion btw. Feel free to criticize.

I feel ok with your prediction even if for me, there are only two real threats for Bute in the division: Ward and Dirrell. We know what Kessler looks against fast southpaws. Bute brings power to that package. I understand your point on the punches landed percentage but it is so awful that it still means something to me. Bute wouldn't be able to miss so often.

Introducing Lucian the arm mystery... Bute!

Well, an arm mystery can be because you don't see it coming, right?
    Why not? :D

We never used Mr KO as a nickname for Bute in Canada. That's purely a Romanian thing as far as I know.
