Pacman killed the fight, if it was 24 days like pacman won't ed it is pointless having the testing because there is window when he could PED be taken and unnatural improvements made with no chance of being caught with the 24 day window of testing for PED.

No, it's not. Pacquiao agreed to take the tests. He did not agree to Mayweather's timetable. Not the same thing, and Smith knows it.

Additionally, it is debatable who agreed and did not agree to what. Many feel Mayweather did not agree to the 24-day cut-off.

Smith knows all this, and along with his already-tarnished record on Pacquiao via the disappearing emails, that makes it all the worse.

Might as well have Ellerbe writing for the Daily News.

Don't worry, he knows better than the docs Team Mayweather was supposedly talking to (rolls eyes).

I use to like him, but he has very obvious biases. He is a Mayweather nuthugger, all the way. The "don't exist" emails debacle was a farce, just outrageous.

Hey, if you just made a mistake, go to the press conference and take your lumps. But Timmy said "Nope," and took the chicken-sh*t way out.

Can't respect that. Any of it.

:deal I remember this. Doctors were brought into mediation and explained to Floyd that Pacquiao's proposal was fair, yet he still wouldn't agree.

ermm Mayweather killed the fight, bottom line, by requesting things that have never ever been done before, Mayweather killed the fight.

if the fight was under the same rules as the other 1000s of boxing fights ever year the fight would have been done already.

Yes it is the same thing.

    Who didn't agree?

    Pac.

You're lucky Smith didn't include that Pac originally agreed to full blood testing up until the day of the fight.

But you always seem to ignore that part.

    :deal

people keep insisting that Pac agreed to the RANDOM tests. However, Arum's last proposal was unlimited urine tests & 3 blood tests NO LATER THAN 24 DAYS prior to the bout! The three tests would be one at the first press conference, one during the training camp, & one after the fight. Clearly, these proposals point to KNOWN test dates, which gives Pac the ability to cycle IF he's on PEDs. People are just looking at the 14 vs 24 aspect of the argument and NOT looking at the actual stipulations!!

    Where did Tim Smith lie?

The first article is funny because it is written by a filipino writer . . . which fighter juice do you think he is drinking? How can anyone denounce bias reporting by citing a bias report by a bias reporter? I am a fan of both Pac and PBF and one thing is for sure out of this whole thing is that Pac is the one that walked away . . . end of story.

LAS VEGAS — Promoter Bob Arum flew Wednesday to the Philippines with a proposed contract for a March 13 fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
The contract was agreed to by Mayweather's representatives, but the boxer has yet to sign. Arum was to present the proposal to Pacquiao, but there are no guarantees he will agree.

    Floyd Mayweather

In a highly unconventional move, representatives of Floyd Mayweather are demanding that both their fighter and Manny Pacquiao be subjected to random, Olympic-style drug testing in the weeks leading up to their proposed March 13 fight.

I am pretty sure ESPN and a few other sources have stated that the testing was in the contract from the beginning and I am pretty sure that Freddie has been caught on tape saying that they would do any type of testing. I am pretty sure these are the facts . . . your final quate does not state whether or not this was in the original contract

It doesn't matter. 14 days is where the argument ends. Roach said on camera it takes Pac 3 days to recover from a blood test. I would be kind enough to give Pac 5 days. More than 14 days is a laughing matter and automatically puts anyone under suspicion. As most of you already know, Mosley has only been tested 8 times which is a reasonable number. I don't see why Manny can't do what Mosley can. Find a way. If he can find a way to KO dudes bigger than he is, he should be able to find a way to get over his fear of a small needle. Stop shielding him like a damn child. He's getting paid $40 million; nothing wrong with making him work hard to earn every penny.
