those body shots were brutal and he picked his punches well at the end - class above what he was facing. 3 out the way - time for a name now? get back in to the mix at a serious level

 

pretty sure he will get a tough European mandatory.

heres what Enzo had to say.

“I said before the fight I hoped both Kotlobay and Jab Promotions didn’t consider me a spent bullet,” said Maccarinelli.

“I recognized this was probably my last title opportunity and the victory will clear a road for me to more important showdowns, including another fight for a world title.

“I didn’t come here feeling like I’m empty and had no fight left in me, even despite the losses previously.

“I was always confident I could pull it out of the bag and I think I proved that tonight.

“I prepared well for this fight with heavyweights like Derek Chisora and Sam Sexton and I was confident of getting the victory.

“Sometimes you have to gauge your opponent and work your way into a fight and other times the chances present themselves early on and you have to take them.

“That’s what I did tonight. Once I saw he was in trouble, I knew I had to go in and finish off the job quickly.

“Kotlobay is a good fighter and I was coming into his own backyard so when the chance was there it was down to me to finish it.”
