heartbreak1819: 10. Roberto Duran 9. George Foreman 8. Marvin Hagler 7. Muhammed Ali 6. Thomas Hearns 5. Roy Jones Jr 4. Joe Louis 3. Rocky Marciano 2. Henry Armstrong 1. Sugar Ray Robinson What do you think of this list? I feel its a really good one, judging on effectiveness. It looks to me a list of fighters who truly dominated opponents more so than other champions. Great to see Hagler where he belongs. What do you think of the Foreman and Marciano picks? I havent seen many top ten lists with those two included, but in terms of highly effective, dominant styles i feel they can be justified.
The only people I would have out of that list would be Roberto Duran, Muhammed Ali, Henry Armstrong and Sugar Ray Robinson.
Coming from you this is a compliment. I don´t have Ali on my Top10 but he has arguments - like Joe Louis. The rest on this list not so much. I mean most of them I don´t even have Top20/30.
I definitely dont agree with the list, and it is obvious that the list maker has used poplular choices and perhaps has limited knowledge of the game. But saying that, there is a good argument for each and every one of those fighters to be highly ranked in a pound for pound sense (though i am not so sure about Foreman in a p4p sense). I would have thought that it might be based on readily available footage on youtube, which woudl have strengthened it, but there isnt really that much on you tube is there. Marciano, is very underated in a p4p list. He beat Charles, Moore and Louis, all three of which are often on top 10 p4p lists and he weighed less than or equal to all three of them. Plus, his 49-0 is impressive at any weight. I never used to, but now i but him into my top 10 he seems to be climbing that list each time i review it.
I see Italy has ironically jewed out and allied itself with ze Germans once more to fight a common foe. I considered you a welcomed aquaintance, teeto, thats some real greaseball **** you've pulled on me.
You've got it all wrong my friend, the scenario is more this, if you may consider the setting; Bodhl vs Pachilles Fans of the great champion who has defined our era, bodhl, are worrying for their fighter, as the young pachilles, who is on a ko streak, readies himself for a title challenge. Worries were turned to relief and then celebration in rapid succession however, when Bodhl administered a both glorious and beautiful first round ko on Pachilles. The champ didn't let us down. I'm no greaseball Pachille, just a fan who admires ownage when he sees it in its purest form, and Bodhl just owned you. If you make any excuses then you are just as bad as the man who has forced you into bitterness, Roberto Duran. I believe you've been owned twice in the same fight mate, change your name to Trevor Berbick.
Bohdi has neither the oral nor mental capacity and lacks the boxing knowledge to withstand my awesome intellect and devine insight toward the sweet science. Read it and weep, you balls on chin Robertard greaseball mother ****er... Behold my top 10 P4P footage based non-Duran-semen-coated list 10) Rocky Marciano 9) Salvador Sanchez 8) Manny Pacquiao 7) Thomas Hearns 6) Joe Louis 5) Marvin Hagler 4) Sugar Ray Leonard 3) Pernell Whitaker 2) Mohammed Ali 1) Sugar Ray Robinson
okay i'm not saying its awesome and it may never match with yours or most people's criteria. And i'm not aying this justifies these picks, but looking at these picks objectively, how many fighters can you favour over these guys h2h in thier very best weight classes?
Why are you under the impression that i'm Italian or of Italian descent? I'm not. And there we have it, even when you do launch an attack, it is nullified. You must have an ownage wish, i'm certain.
