A fight that never happened that would have been fun. A couple of heavy hitters at 147. How would you see this fight going?

A good jab beats Trinidad. Quartey had a GREAT jab. Nuff said.

A good jab is not the only thing that beats trinidad. I got Trinidad winning this one.

I think Tito would have stopped Ike late in a fight where's he's down on the cards.

Not a great post mate. Great lateral movement beats Tito. Quartey had a great jab and was one dimensional, people always underestimate how much of a bad mistake it can be to come and trade with Tito. Quartey would be too game for his own good here. No doubt the jab does well early on for him, his jab was lethal, but Trinidad is too accurate with murderous shots for a guy like Ike.

That's my opinion, i don't see how Quartey wins.

Just thought I'd add on some more food for thought, for what it's worth(and it's probably not worth a whole lot), Oscar De La Hoya seemed to imply in his book that Quartey hit harder than Tito. Also, Quartey has never been T'KOd.

However, Quartey unfortunately has lost all of his big fights.

If Trinidad had landed that left hook at 4:00 it would've been the beginning of the end.

But Winky also had a freakish defense that saw shots coming before they did, seemingly anyway. Quartey doesn't have half that defensive capability. Plus we are considering the prime Tito here, not that there was a world of difference though.

A jab was not the only thing he used plus Tito was way past his prime and not at 147

Id say Quartey, but then he probably would have been robbed on points as he was in all his big fights
