Adamek beats him on heart alone. Povetkin aint gonna take the hurt he would need to take to beat Adamek.
I can't imagine it too. They probably read a lot of sciense-fiction books, so their imagination works incredibly. Well, Adamek is still underrated, for many of people here, for them he still has proved nothing, beating Golota, Estrada and now Arreola give no credit for them. Even if he beats whoever else, you'll be able to find somebody who thinks Adamek is small heavyweight or has never fought somebody like X. Hilarious.
Those who continue talking trash about Adamek are people who will even continue to talk trash if Adamek would beat Haye. Instead of giving Adamek credit for a win , they would talk how Haye got exposed and never really was a top 5 fighter in HW.
Its funny how its the same people who predicted an Arreola knockout victory are now claiming that he's a never has been (Loyd?). Arreola is still a top 10 fighter and has some good fights ahead of him. As far as Adamek\Povetkin, I see it as a close fight that could go either way. Okay maybe a small edge for Goral. ...and since Povetkin will not fight a Klit anytime soon this fight could be a possibility??
I said from the moment fight was made that Arreola would get beat , i was surprised it was so close ! Povetkin has shown he isn't all that determined and a wavering heart agasint Adamek ...... :-(
povetkin will be great when he gets his world title shot. i just hope it happens. the adamek threads have really picked up. things got quiet after the estrada fight. let's show some appreciation for fighters like haye and povetkin. they have something that could potentially trouble wlad (power vs tall fighters / pressure). they would trouble him more than adamek would. but adamek has a realistic chance of beating haye and povetkin, though it would be an enormously hard and competitive fight.
Povetkin wont take it, he is comfortable with his mandatory status ... he wats to stay like this for a couple of years.
Tiger on what basis ure claiming povetkin has any chance against kitchkos? From those 3 guys u mentioned Haye has the most chance but only vs wlad , cuz of his power , he can ko him early if he has anough courage to go for it from the beginning. Povetkin imo has the least chance. He's lack of lateral movement, "only forward" style with not much defense or head movement would make him very easy target. And something tells me his chin isnt that great either. Góral atleas has the chin and determination to make things interesting. Haye has that mentioned power to trouble wlad. What does povetkin have?
