Interesting Dawson is at a fast lead.

Does this possibly mean Dawson can be a legitimate threat in the HW division now?

True, but it wasn't spoken before the fight, cuz .. what would be a point of telling about weaknesses ? It's commonly taken as an explanation, who cares now, he lost the fight to Dawson while being sick or health, he lost it ..

You don't need to be an Adamek "fan" to see he was weight drained.

I'm not getting this 'natural' bull****.

Isn't Dawson taller than Adamek? If he could pack in the gym
a bit he would be able to carry the same weight as Adamek :deal

    This is true.

And also add to the fact, that Dawson is a guy that can EASILY make 168. Anything above 175 I dont see him doing really that well at.

Dawson was actually very close to stopping Adamek in their first fight ( there was a point where the referee was looking close), although I'm choosing him to win by decision. I think if the fight is made at cruiser weight, (where Dawson could weigh in as little as 176, thus keeping his speed) then he would win again although it would be more competitive since Adamek is more polished.

Look at the last two rounds of Dawson/Adamek, and tell me Adamek was weight drained. He closed strong and was pressing Dawson, a weight drained fighter wouldn't have had the energy to do that. Also, Adamek stays in shape all year round and had just defended his titles against Briggs (in a war) about 4 months prior. He was just blinded by Dawson's speed.

Well maybe not knocking them them out(sides Golota) but hes obviously hurting them real badly(Arreola a top 5 HW was getting his ass kicked and looked like a porkupine after the fight.

Im not trying to diminish Dawson's skills tho...dont get me wrong, his kid is real good...A real special talent he has. Dawson could of even beat the Adamek who fought Ulrich and Briggs but imo it would of been maybe a little closer. But saying that I think Dawson would pretty much beat Adamek at 175, about 8 or 9 out of 10 times.

Good point, I actually gave Tomasz round 10 and 11 of that fight. I also gavce Adamek the 12th, but that was pretty much due to sympathy even tho I thought Dawson did a little more. But I only did that cause I gave Dawson rounds 1-9

But the thing is he wouldn 't have moved up if he WASN'T weight drained. Like you say, Adamek is in great shape all year round and he's a warrior, but I doubt he moved up solely over the fact that Dawson beat him, he moved up cause he was having problems staying at 175.

Now at CW/HW he could eat whatever he wanted and didnt have to worry about weighing under the limit due to the fact that he didn't have much stress into trying to reach the LHW limit.
