We can only debate who is better now,
but unquestionable is that Adamek takes every fight HBO offers.
Unlike Adamek, Haye is obiously avoiding competetive oponents (not only klits) and fight with Bonin, old Ruiz. :blood
Is Haye really proven in heavyweight beating Valuev? I don't think so... :think

Lots of heavies are overrated. One could argue Lennox Lewis was overrated. Arreola is probably still a top ten heavy.

And Arreola might well be capable of beating the "Statue of Valuev".

arreola has big strength and power. adamek isn't a true heavyweight. so he deserves props for negating such a physically threatening fighter. steve cunningham or chad dawson or peak o'neil bell would have been trampled on in the 4th or 5th rounds when arreola literally ran after adamek. you need the combination of toughness AND boxing ability (those fighters i mention sort of have one or the other quality).

i think adamek may have enough to beat haye. enough experience, workrate, toughness. but it would be a hugely punishing fight. and i think haye has a much better chance vs wladimiar klitschko, because haye - unlike adamek - has some heavyweight power. haye's power may not be heavy, but it is kind of fast and startling - ppl simply do not see it coming. haye does have great form cracking those high up european chins, vs some very tall for their weigh guys (cruiser: 6'4 macca, 6'6 gurov; heavyweight: 7' valuev, staggering at the end.)

LOL since when did Ruiz become so good all of a sudden.

3-3 in his last 6 fights 38 years old leading up to the Haye fight and we are supposed to get excited with that recycled farce.

You write good posts :good I think that Adamek is more complete fighter and better boxer overall, but at HW Haye has some speed and size advantage and has this 1-power punch. So I think its 50/50. However I dont see Haye taking this fight in the next 12 months. If he takes it, then big respect, because Adamek is a very dangerous opponent for Haye.

You say who Arreola beat? I will answer: nobody. But still he is more dangerous than old former champions Ruiz and that version of Valuev that should have lost to 46yo Evander Holyfield.

my opinion, do you really wanna hear it after you saying a blown up feather fisted cruiserweight with mediocre defense and overrated handspeed can give adamek more problems?? are you sure you wanna hear it??? i dont think you do man, you wont like it.

"Chris Arreola critics might say, “Well, Adamek beat a fat, mediocre heavyweight. It doesn’t prove anything.” Not true. That fat, mediocre heavyweight, a legitimate title contender, threw everything he had at the amazing Pole and couldn’t take him down. Adamek can’t afford to be the thrill-a-minute fighter he was at 175 and 200 pounds against the giants of the sport. He must be more cautious. However, his combination of underrated skill, fitness, experience and an inhuman chin make him a threat to beat anyone in the division except the Klitschkos. He’s one of the true wonders of the sport. I’d love to see him fight David Haye next if the Briton doesn’t fight Nikolay Valuev again or one of the Klitschkos. I’d pick Adamek to win." -weekend review by Michael Rosenthal, the Ring Magazine. :thumbsup
    I agree with it 100%

So what, Brewster did it quicker. But the Golota from the Bowe fights would give Lewis fits.

He does not, i've been saying this milion times before the fight. But still he has some pop in these hands and u know he outweighed adamek by 30 lbs. Still couldnt hurt him. That tells me its unlikely for Haye to ko adamek easily like many of u keep saying. It took him some rounds to ko Barret , it took him some time to ko ruiz, yet you guys want to tell me he'll ko adamek in 5-6 rounds , adamek who has better chin than those two combined. And i dont base this opinion only on arreola fight for gods sake. Adamek is known for his chin for years.

Mate i got a lot of respect for adamek, he is a preety much complete fighter and i like the way he is going about things. It was a good move going against arreola, who renown for not being in shape and also had been hyped up way beyond his actual skill level.

Good time to get him still took courage as although he isn't a muderous puncher he is solid and has a solid chin and will give most fighters a good hard 12 rounds.

    So i appluade that

As the heavy division sucks we now have the 2 brothers and 2 former cruisers as the 3 and 4 in the division repsectively well at least imo. Now the klits have no where else to go as there seriously is no one else to fight just look at vitalis next cannon fodder opps i mean opponent.

Wlad haye will happen in september in all probability, so maybe it will be adamek-vitali later in the year :good

Early next year i fully expect to see haye-adamek who will win, id take haye as of the moment but lets see what happens. I mean haye may get balsted in a round by wlad or vice versa, but at least by this time next year things will be clearer. I just don't like to see fighters get overated because its a long way to fall if they don't make the grade and not just for them but also for there fans.

But lets not try to take away from either cruiser/ now hw because without haye and adamek it would be the shittiest division ever. Both are in the early stages of there hw career, both have there chances against each other.
All this **** about haye is scared etc..

What a load of **** he went to paris and knocked out mormec in his backyard, he went to germany and beat valuev and had him hurt. Both are warriors and as i said both should be applauded :happy
