So Denis Boytsov is an exciting new Russian HW prospect and KO kid, and is currently ranked as #15 in the World by BoxRec.
He's only fought bums so far, though, and I think it's about time he started to prove himself.

That means we need a good, even match for the boy, a proper test.
Who do you guys think he should be pitted against? And why?

Doesn't matter, I think he would be destroyed by Tua, Haye, Peter, Arreola, Klits, Chambers, and Povetkin.

He should move down to cruiser.

He's not a new prospect, he's been a prospect for years.

WBC has him fourth. I wouldn't mind seeing him against anyone in their top 5 (Solis, Valuev, Povetkin, Arreola). I guess Valuev or Arreola since one clearly has no interest in facing a Klit and the other has already lost. Might as well move up by beating them first, although Solis or Povetkin would be a better fight.

Maybe they'll try and get him a European title fight with A-Force!!

I was just looking around to see where he was in the major four rankings (about 3-5 in all of them) and the WBA spells his name wrong. How can you expect to be taken seriously when you don't even know the people you're ranking? ****ing organizations.

Well, RELATIVELY new. He's just 24, and I think you know what I mean.

Sharing that opinion shouldn't really prevent you from answering my question, either.

He's been pretty well known around here for about five years.

I think he's a very good force to be reckoned with, I'd love for him to fight someone like Dimitrenko next, whom I think he would smash to bits.

Dimitrenko is not a bad idea.
I think it could even be a fun fight, at least competitive for a while.

Winner of Harrison-Dimitrenko would be good for him

Nice opinion. No evidence at all to support it, of course,:D since he has never faced a top opponent...which was sort of the point of the thread.

OK:roll: then stick him in with barrett and Shannon Briggs or even Dominic Guinn and if he beats them then he isn't the biggest heavy hype train of the last 5-10 years. The dude is small and not nearly as fast and explosive as many claim, doesn't bob and weave enough or fast enough to get in on rangy fighters with a jab, and hasn't faced a puncher yet, nor has he fought a truly durable fighter. What is your opinion?

I bet R. Butler, Travis Walker, and J. McCline would all either give him hell as well or even starch him.

You have to know one thing, he is Russian and his name is originally in cyrylica, and there is no one right way to write it in latin alphabet, for example in poland we write kliczko instead of klitschko.
