Andy Raymond said earlier that Darchinyan will headline one of the next Fox Sports cards, defending his title against Richard Garcia I believe he said. A quick look on boxrec matches that name with this fighter: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=157674&cat=boxer

Doesn't appear to be the best matchup but I won't ***** because at least its free and we were told that Darchinyan would have a warm up before facing Donaire in August.

hope not, i mean id love him to fight on home soil, & free to air would be great, but i was hoping he would pick a better tune up fight.

Didn't think of that. You think that's the reason for the choice. I'm always open to suggestions. Feel free. I like hearing different views

I'm a glass half full type of bloke Raff  But seriously this could be the plan especially if he is going to take on Donaire again itmakes perfect sense to iron out your **** in a live but less dangerous enviroment .

Probably just after a bit of exposure. To be honest I'd like more of our big name fighters to fight for free on those cards. It only helps the sport if people don't have to pay everytime they want to watch one of our best.

Maybe he wants to give his fans here in his adopted country a chance to see him fight before he eventually retires. I think its great for boxing in this country.
