Q: How many Polaks does it take to beat Chris Arreola? A: 1 named Adamek, & millions of others to say he's the best HW since Ali. atsch
For me the Banks fight, but probably a lot of that had to do with the party I was at and the atmosphere there during the fight. That was a good night.
If this poll doesn't get a whole shitload of results for Briggs then it means people haven't seen them yet. If that is the case, do yourself a favour and get both of Adamek's fights against Paul Briggs - both are FOTY material, and I can't pick one as better than the other.
That's because you don't think Adamek's nothing more than a glorified bum. It was a joke about a very well-known Polish stereotype...
What bias? That's a stupid comment. I can't think of any other fights involving Australians which could qualify as FOTY candidates without going back to Fenech Nelson.
Please someone tell me, how to add that palooka to ingore list? :huh Moving back to the thread, I am still undecided if it was Cunningham or Arreola fight more pleasure to watch to me :think Edit: I voted for Cunningham fight. Since that knockdown in the last second of the 2dn round it was very dramatic, and action packed fight
Adamek is a top level HW contender at this point, and has good fights ahead of him. In no way is Adamek a "glorified bum". To say that you demonstrate either your ignorance in regards to either Adamek, or the sport. Its funny because its been a while since there were so many posts about the HW division, and fights in it. Just goes to prove Adamek is helping and livening up the division with his presence, and fights there. You should be happy. Maybe it would be better if he ran his mouth all the time, and fought lesser competition, in long snooze fests.
Well you are hyping te Brigg fights as memorable fights, they were great but should not lead this poll by a landslide if it does.
I was more imagining a situation where they didn't get many votes because people hadn't seen them. Not saying that they have to lead, just that they deserve to get votes of recognition. Yes I am hyping them as great fights, they were very watchable. Out of Adamek's resume they do stand out as being excellent.
