I think this is a career defining fight for Mayweather, and one that can cement his legacy as an ATG.

But will he win? Mosley has the style and power to foil Mayweather's preferred boxer puncher tactics.

    Give me your best guess.

I know, the majority of his fights in recent times have seen him as a defensive-minded boxer. Anyhow i think he wins this comfortably, and it's a good win. Of course a younger Mosley would e better, but this is still a good win imo.

What style advantage do you think Sugar possesses?

At 130 i'd say he was pretty close to that. Certainly not as this point in time in his career

Footwork and footspeed for me will be the key. As much as i would like to see floyd fight in a style similar to he did against N'dou for instance that is unrealistic. I expect mayweather to be on his toes most of the time, looking for the counters and then moving away again.

The interesting part will be how does mosely look to counter this and how will he approach the periods where floyd sits on the ropes. This is when he needs to do his best work but will he start to get discouraged when he is being hit and not landing back?

For me if mosely can get mayweather to the ropes and continue to work no matter if at times he is getting cleanly counter he may have a chance. If mayweather keeps this in the centre of the ring i don't really like mosely chances greatly

Even then I'd disagree, but I think we can all agree that he's not now.

I really am looking forward to what Richardson has planned for mid rounds strategy, as by that time Mayweather has usually figured out his opponent's plan and adjusts accordingly.

I'd say in fights against Genaro Hernadez and Angel Manfredy for instance he was showing some boxer puncher tendencies. As you say though certainly irrelevant in this fight

I look for Mayweather to take a close ,but clear cut deciaion.
It is a tough fight for him ,but Mosley is nearly 39 years old,and slightly in decline.
I think the win over Margarito flattered Mosley somewhat,Margarito was there to be hit,Mayweather will not be.Mosley was out boxed by Cotto 3 years ago ,he will not have improved ,and he has been inactive, the odds favour PBF,imo. But one worth paying for, which makes a pleasant change..

Floyd Mayweather is one of the most technically sound boxers thats come around. Mosley is basically a slugger with fast hands. He doesnt have the tools to offset Floyd and at this point I think the strength factor is being overblown. A quick technical fighter has less of a hard time with guys that come forward with no real weapons besides handspeed.

I expect Mayweather to win by stoppage within 10 rounds.

    A stoppage?
He couldn't stop Marquez in his last showing, what makes you think he'll stop
    Mosley?

I dont think he tried. I think he will try this fight. I know its a bold statement, but I think Mayweather wants to make a statement in this fight and Mosley is going to be the sacrficial lamb.

I think there's a slight possibility of Floyd winning by stoppage as I get the feeling he really wants to make a statement and prove the doubters wrong. However a ud is the safer bet.
