This is a super fight in Japan and rightfully so. Plus Aoh and Nishioka on the card - I can't wait :good

Japan cards are on in the morning over here I think, so keep checking on the Friday morning.

Great fight this is. Unfortunately it seems to be getting lost in the shuffle a bit.

Yeah really is a great fight. Top class fighters.

Shame its happened a little late, Montiel hasn't looked great of late. Whereas Hasegawa really has been impressive. I think he'll be a little too quick.

Yeah. The front page of esb seems to think the Huck/Minto is more important.:patsch

Personally I'm more interested in Hasegawa/Montiel than Floyd/Mosely.

With Reyes, Hasegawa within five. Too sharp, his shifts from patient southpaw to offensive blitzkrieg are awesome to watch.

Hasegawa is my favourite current fighter to be fair though.

Can't wait for this. I've got Hasegawa, it's just all the punches in bunches against the pure boxer, won't give him too much time to think or counter i reckon.

WBC bantam champ Hozumi Hasegawa (28-2, 12 KOs), making his eleventh defense, will risk his belt against WBO ruler Fernando “Cochulito” Montiel (40-2-2, 30 KOs), a skillful Mexican hard-puncher, tomorrow (Friday) in Tokyo, Japan. The Japanese southpaw, 28, tipped the beam at 117.75, a quarter pound lighter than the 118-pound limit, which Montiel, 31, scaled in at.
