“They feared fighting me even when I was a two-time World Welterweight Champion. I'm saying it now loud and clear: ‘After I beat Kermit Cintron on May 8 at the Home Depot Center, I demand the winner get into the ring with me. If not, they better not say they're the best at welterweight!..As for the fight Saturday, Shane Mosley will stop Mayweather.”

    -Paul Williams

"Shane Mosley has all the tools to beat Mayweather,..Mayweather is a great fighter, but I believe he is underestimating Mosley, especially because of his age. Mosley’s age does not reflect the great fighter he is.”

    -Kermit Cintron

"There are so many people that try to be Muhammad Ali,..The funny part about this sport is there are no two people alike. There will never be another Sugar Ray Leonard (another Dundee pupil), there will never be another Muhammad Ali. I know the kid(Mayweather) means well. He is a nice kid...He's a great fighter, no doubt about it, But in this profession, there is always a guy out there who can beat another guy. And I think Mayweather is meeting the guy who can do it. The experience Shane Mosley has is second to none. He fought every tough guy on the way up, at the smaller weights and then he grew into the bigger man he is. He is bigger than Mayweather and the stronger man and he won't be fooled by Mayweather."

    -Angelo Dundee

Paul Williams should shut up. He's not that good. he is the most overrated fighter out there. He doesn't know whether he's a middleweight or a welterweight. I just know he's a chump.

He's probably the backup for the Mayweather/Mosley winner if Pac still wants to be a hoe about the drug testing.

He may just get his wish.

Um, yeah, sure Paul. You just keep thinking that...

I'd laugh if he got beat by Kermit Cintron.

Sounds like cintron and williams are trying to put themselves into position as 2nd fiddle, and agitating mayweather so he considers giving them a huge pay day.

The only reason I can say Mosley may win, is because of Mayweather's lack of tough opposition. I really don't rate his resume post-135lbs and it could be a case that he's very overrated now.

That said, I don't believe that's the case. Mayweather wide UD.

If that's true, you better jump on that. Vegas alone is worth it. Vegas on fight night, and actually being at the fight is definately worth it.

PW has every right to be frustrated to be fair. He was a legit world class welter forced to move up in weight because no one wanted to face him.

Margarito, while a big cheat, at least took his challenge. You'll never see the likes of Floyd taking a fight with PW. Or Pacquiao. Both these two fighters are cherry pickers of the highest order, great fighters, but cherry pickers nevertheless. Paul Williams at 147 would have handidly outworked Floyd. And he'd have steadily broken Pacquiao down.
