A very decent analysis. I am just trying to think back and trying to think if Mosley has ever fought a fight where he has been the one making it dirty and ugly? Mayorga was an ugly fight, but that was caused by Mayorga more than anything? Can some remind me of a fight that Mosley made ugly?
Ur still trying to enstill in my head he has under-rated power. He did not fight Baldo, he pot-shotted and Marquez was out on his feet after the 9th rd and he still could not get him outta there? I win and it seems like ur gonna stay losing saying Ur Boy has under-rated power.
Of the guys that Mayweather has failed to KO since moving to 147, three of them are DLH, Baldomir, and Marquez. DLH has been KOed once, by a body shot, against a bigger Hopkins. He has a fantastic chin. And the fight was actually above Welterweight. Baldomir hasn't been KOed since 1994. Forrest couldn't do it, despite Baldomir coming up to 154. Marquez has never been KOed. Pac knocked him down 4 times over 2 fights and never managed to get him out of there. He KOed Hatton, KOed Mitchell, and had Judah in serious trouble before Judah got a nice long rest thanks to the low blow and subsequent riot. He's not a huge puncher, but he's no Malignaggi either. He has enough pop to keep the other guy honest.
you win what?... lol, your argument for him having "no power" is pretty weak... if your only justification for him having no power is by not gettin' the KO everytime he fights.. then by all means, stick by that... i'm not trying to change your mind... but to merely open it away from the hatred... :good
:rofl that's why i keep saying...but dude's got it stuck in his head that we think mayweather has hearns-like power at WW.... atsch
This fight will look NOTHING like the Cotto-Mosley fight......and after the fight everyone will wonder why they got it so wrong. The answer.........because the vast majority of you don't know what you are looking at, and simply are repeating what you heard said on a broadcast.
Never said he had Hearns like power, he has no power at WW. He pot-shots to a decision and just runs around on defensive for 12 rds but here you go, Mr. Roger Mayweather, saying he has under-rated power but you still has not proven to me how is power is so under-rated @ WW, unless ur going on his wins against a natural JWW and a natural LW who were both blown up to fight him. Typical Mayweather groupie.
These are the following things everyone should understand: 1. Size actually does matter 2. Durability does matter 3. Power does matter When you have two fighters where their skill is not wide apart then size, speed, power, and durability matter. They always have. Now if you believe Shane's legs are shot, or are simply very declined, then I fully understand and respect your argument. I don't respect your analysis but I respect your argument. Because if you are correct then your prediction of an easy PBF win makes total sense. But if I am correct and Shane's legs are fine........PBF and those picking him have very serious issues come May 1st.
Everyone seems to be saying the same things about Mosley and not being able to follow a game plan with Nazim in his corner but.. Did you watch the margo fight? Nazim tells him to JAB him and go to the body and thats what Mosley did all night. Later on in the fight Nazim tells him that he is ready to be taken and what does Shane do? Takes him out. The dude listens to Nazim I think he will listen May 1st against the "greatest fighter of this era, generation of all time yada yada yada". And another thing. Why does everyone bring up Mosley's defense as the reason he will lose? Has he every shown defense in his career? He is an offensive powerhouse that can move and box too. There are plenty of boxers who are not known for their defense. Manny Pacquiao is one of them. Some guys fight and get hit (Mosley, Pacquiao, Paul Williams, Joe frazier, and the list goes on), and some guys fight to not get hit (PBF, Whitaker, Ali (before layoff).
