Lucian Bute - Robert Stieglitz unification possible?

He's live on sport.ro ...talking about the next match home .... Just open my tv . They say the costs are around 4 mill euros.Something about the prime minister being involved and something about of a stadium. The tv host asked him if he can box in open space on a stadium if it is okey with the temperature humidity etc. He asked him about Stieglitz ...he said it's not 100 % sure but all the info he got leads to a refuse.

 

Now they said that Stieglitz refused but it will be another offer. Possible opponents: Sartison and Brinkley with the condition that Bika will be mandatory after...?

 

The price of the tickets will be moderate almost minimum. The average ticket price around 10 euros .

 

The president and the prime minister are supporting the idea of Bute fighting in Romania.

He's a bum, but he's also the best fighter available. Who else would you propose he fight who would go to Romania? We know Hopkins wouldn't go to Europe. Dawson already refused a fight in Romania with Diaconu, so he's out. Best SMWs are all in the super six. Jermain Taylor is out of commission. Bika and Brinkley are tied up, and he already beat Bika wide once before.

I guess he could go after shot Jeff Lacy or something, but that's still a step down from Stieglitz. I can't think of anyone available who's better than Stieglitz.

 

I'm thinking it will be Jean Paul Mendy. Not ****, but not great either. But at least he's a semi-slick southpaw, which means it's a different look than anyone Bute's fought before.

 

I agree he his one of the best opponent available!

 

Is Karoly Balzsay ranked by the IBF? He's lost his last couple fights, but I suspect he wouldn't have a problem heading to Romania.

 

Why is so hard to get a quality opponent for Bute in Romania.....when the local organizers stated public that the event budget is 4 MILLION EUROS!!!!....wow:think.......anybody in the P4P....will go over there...Bute`s last 4 fights together did not have that kind of money available!.......unless the real budget is not even half..... with the rest going to the wise guys in ROMANIA......for years the European Union claims ROMANIA as one of the most corrupted countries in Europe!:think

4 million euros is the whole thing not just bute's fight ... the rent of the stadium the building of the ring etc. The Whole Shebang

I guess the purses are big to since they said that the offer that Stieglitz recived is the best they ever give to a contender...and now they think of offering him again.
