P4P I'd say JMM has been PAC's best opponent so far

Based on his size, power and strenght.....quite possibly. I would have said DLH but the way he got handled I can't say that with a straight face.

I ask because people here like to mention (as if it's a bad thing) that Mosley is better than anyone on Floyd's resume. What's wrong with future hall of famer Shane Mosley being the best opponent on anyone's resume. I don't get it. I wonder who Mosley would consider the prized jewel of his resume if he wins Saturday.

I think he would be a tough test, and one of the best names on his resume. he certainly would be at welterweight. I also think that mosley would be a dangerous fight for pac and would probably give the edge to him to win. when pacman gets hit, he likes to stand in and hit back. he is a brave fighter who wont back down. i don't think he is more powerful or stronger than mosley.

Cotto did beat Shane after-all... but it stills seems like Mosley would be a tougher fight.

Mosley's got better speed, a better chin... and a better corner than Cotto had vs Pac imo.

I wish they let him fight as a natural welter

145 is welterweight, last time I checked.

Cotto weighed 146 for Clottey, Mosley, Gomez, Jennings, Urkal, and 145 for Judah.

I think you don't fully understand the concept of weight class.

    141 is welter and so is 142, 143,... 147.

You might be able to argue that Cotto is better at 146 instead of 145 but to argue that 145 is not welter shows lack of understanding of fundamental boxing rules.

no. p4p, barrera, marquez and maybe even morales were all better fighters when pac fought them. of course shane could still be a tough opponent even at this advance age but it's only because he is bigger than pacquiao, but still pac would beat the current version of shane, imo.

wrong... floyd did not cherry pick mosley. He talked his way out of fighting the best too many times. So when everyone else had tough fights He and Shane were the only two left. PBF was forced into this one.

As they should because they are calling him old for mayweather. However what they will really say is that Manny is a top 3 ATG since he beat the great Shane Mosley. In reality this fight would never have happened on May 1st because team pac feels that shane is to good. However, if Mayweather beats Mosley, then they will most likely start negotiating with mosley then. I like pacquiao but only a ******* would dispute this trend.

thats easy to say now that Pac handed cotto an ass kicking... but before the fight everyone had Cotto as the best WW. I had $300 on Cotto.
