I want to believe, but how can Floyd fail where Miguel Cotto succeeded?

About time. Shane has been to the "wall" in all of his last fights. Even with DLH. Shane has only a puncher's chance now. Last time he could have pulled it off was like LW. Now? It is all uphill.

That is why it is hilarious you guys though Mayweather was ducking.

Cotto beat him with the jab. Cotto has a better jab than Mayweather.

Shane had difficulty with Cotto because what he prepared for was a bullish forward-aggressive Cotto. but the Cotto he faced boxed and moved in circles.

That shouldn't faze a 36 year old that's been a multiple weight world champion, surely?

If Mosley can't adjust to a different style at that age, no way he's going to beat Floyd.

Floyd (altho a twat) is an excellent fighter, and can adjust instantly. If Mosley can't adjust to a fighter fighting differently than anticipated, he's done.

lol, yeah or that. Cotto is really underrated. He's got great boxing skills. Plus like I said he's a guy who hunches over, and that was awkward for Mosley I think. PBF will fight his usual fight - staying on the outside, potshoting, covering up when he's engaged. It'll be a completely different fight.

I agree. Shane did worse against Cotto than Margarito and Pacman. It is good people are excited about Shane fighting Mayweather, but with a little thought it is obvious that he is too old and not fast enough to beat Floyd now. Floyd by UD .

Maybe not though. Margarito cheated, and the results of his cheating were clear. Cotto was winning the fight until the loaded gloves took their toll. Pacquiao did not cheat, and he was beating Cotto throughout, and he ended up totally dominant.

A Floyd vs Manny fight would be much closer than Floyd vs Shane will be. Floyd can't run from the Pacman.

I don't really care about putting myself out there to be shot down mate. I say what I think, and if I'm wrong, I'll happily admit it, no sweat.

Not at welterweight he wasn't. He was good, but he was not a monster.
