First I love watching Paul Williams going to war in each fight. He could make his fights easier but decide to trade regardless of the opponents (except Margarito). I dont find it smart. By using his height and legs he would be very very hard to beat (got a good chin too. It's up to him anyway and it gave us the war against Martinez.

However there are a few points that bother me:

    • the whole promotion based on being the most feared man. It's not true anymore since he is finding credible opponents now. Even though he is still a stylistic nightmare.

    • his natural weight being 147. WTF?!! I think his best weight now is 154. I believe he was a natural 147 based on the fact that he looked great against Quintana in 2008 (less than 146 at weigh-in).

I don't buy that "all the top guys at 147 ducked him" either. One, he's 6 freakin 1. Two, he should fight @ MW and can find fights (Martinez rematch, Pavlik(maybe), and now Cintron).

If he can make Welterweight, why shouldn't he be allowed to fight at Welterweight? B'awwwwwwww he's too tall? Man the **** up and fight him, you're a professional boxer.

It's odd how Floyd gets as the most accountable out of all the welters for fighting Williams. Williams isn't the biggest draw, and we all know Floyd fights for checks. These "warriors" are welter don't get as much **** as Floyd for not wanting to fight Paul?:think

And I don't buy that a guy who is 6'1 shouldn't be fighting at welterweight. Try telling that to Sugar Ray Robinson & Thomas Hearns.

Robinson is dead but I'd be more than happy to tell that to Hearns:good.

He is the most fear fighter since the big names don't want to take a risk and fight him. Clottey isn't a big name but yet Pacquiao fought him.

:lol:He beat him the first time. Also Martinez gave him hell so those slick southpaws don't go well for him.

The reason he doesn't Jab is because he doesn't have an amatuer back ground. Its also the reason he doesn't do anything special other then throw a **** tone of punches and capitalize on the fact that he's WAY bigger then the guys he's fighting. He'll get chopped to **** at MW if he sticks around there long enough for guys like Jacobs to mature. You can for get about SMW anyone of the Super Six guys would bust him up bad.

Yeah I was more trying to be funny then anything. He's a good fighter but a guy who can move and counter punch should do well against him. If you think about it his biggest win is against a guy that pretty much has lead in his feet (I didn't score the Martinez fight for him). I thought he did well against martinez but if Martinez could crack a little harder it might have been a different story.
