I think its okay for a fighter to beleive he is better than the past fighters from all eras, I think mentally it gives them an edge that they need in fights.
What I notice Floyd Mayweather doing though over the last several fights, he talks **** about his opponent to get under their skin and just as the fight draws near he becomes more respectful towards his opponent in a sense throwing that fighter for another mental loop, by the time fight night arrives, the other fighter is usally all ****ed up in the head and doesnt know what to think of Mayweather.....

 

This is hate, I don't like PBF myself but I'm not gonna act like he can't fight because he can.

 

I guarantee you, Mosley wants to take his head off after the all the trash talk, not being boastful 3days before the fight hasn't changed that. Mosley is gonna go after him very hard on saturday, if he still has the speed and stamina to keep up with PBF, thing will get very interesting.
