Great shot to hurt him just seen the replay Hasegawa's face was in all sorts of shapes with those landing.

I knew Fernando would do it. Sheer blind optimism, but I made the pick anyway.

Great win for Montiel. I can't make my mind up if it was an early stoppage or not. Only three of the punches landed but he looked out on his feet.

Same here. Although one of my faves to watch, I thought people were getting carried away putting him in P4P lists already considering his oppo. ****ing gutted:-(. At least Montiel has won a proper belt now- just needs two more to become a 3-weight world champ;).

Montiel was very good wouldn't let Hase into a rhythm soon as Hasegawa looked to have him figured out he changed and Hasewaga was all out of range again.

Not to sure whats going on now, some sort of emotional tribute to Nish

He looked gone to me mate didn't look as if he was even thinking about getting his hands up or throwing back.

I thought his hands were on the ropes; looked gone.

China chin? Overrated? Opposition flattered him? Or just another strange day in boxing?

Especially considering Montiels previous form, I can't believe this has happened.

I'm gonna go with "strange day in boxing", Hasegawa looked okay up until Montiel timed him with that punch.
