    Montiel/Nishioka anybody?

  2. Sweet slo-mo replay of that straight left hand.

I had never heard of him either, but he's one brave and tough Pinoy *******
with an effectively awkward style. I had him up 38-37 at the time of the stoppage (scoring the 4th 9-9 since he barely edged it IMO but had the point taken away).

Nishioka can be outboxed, sure. The question is who at SBW can survive those devastating left hands over the championship distance? None that spring to mind.

They're showing the replay of the Montiel KO in extreme slow motion.

It was actually a double hook; both landed flush and HARD. Hozumi's eyes were glazed as he backed into the ropes. Whoever said his arm got tangled was absolutely right. They got a very good angle on it. His left arm was literally wrapped around one of the middle ropes and that is what was holding him up...he was not leaning.

    CRAZY!

Had he actually been able to succumb to gravity and hit the canvas without the additional punishment, he may have gotten up and beaten the count and maybe been able to clear his head for the second round.

I'm really hoping they show that one...interested in Aoh, and Garcia is a good way to size up against the likes of Gamboa, Linares, and Valero.

Yep, he grabs the rope, very bad idea. WTF was he thinking? Hozumi, HELLO! He simply offered full access to his chin. Damn.

It still exists, in some commissions I think.

    I'm not opposed to it.
