I've got to say I think a KO is highly unlikely for either fighter - Mosley could go out due to accumilation of punches over 10 / 11 / 12 rounds of being tagged, just Can't see Floyd being tagged that clean. But hey - this is why we love boxing eh?
Of course they remember that. The thing is, Forrest was a significantly bigger puncher than Mayweather is. And Mosley was hit with quite a few huge flush shots before going down.
I think Floyd would be more shocking, just because he's undefeated and has never really been hurt in a fight. Seeing Floyd get dropped would be pretty shocking, people would be talking about that **** for weeks on here.
You telling me shane wouldn't finish this **** off??? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtyDlsOO98A[/ame]
Mosley getting KO (not TKOd, KOd) by Floyd will never happen, so I'll go with this option. Mosley has taken punches from Cotto, Mayorga, Forrest, OLDH. He'll take punches from Floyd with few problems. Even if we're talking about a TKO, I'd say it's doubtful, as Floyd isn't active enough for the accumulative power to show up.
Floyd hardly takes a clean shot. Mosley has a **** defense and takes alot od punches. Mosley punches alot harder than floyd but wont catch him so i say a floyd k.o is more likley
I would be a lot more suprised if Mosley got knocked out. I am picking Mayweather to win by decision, but I would be shocked if Shane got stopped. If there is a knockout, I think it will be Shane scoring it. Again, I don't expect that to happen. I am actually suprised at the closeness of this poll. Mosley has been in the ring with Forrest twice, De La Hoya twice, Cotto, Margarito, Mayorga, Vargas twice and has never been stopped. He has only been knocked down in one fight of his 52 fight career.
Anyone who tries to deny Floyd his recognition as one of the greatest defensive fighters in history plainly doesn't know what they're talking about. The most interesting part is how you avoid actually backing up your views, preferring to just leave an emoticon and run.
Mosley DIDN'T knock out Mayorga with one punch. Mayorga was already down and wobbled and it was at the very end of the fight. It was accumulation, punctuated with a leaping left hook.
