Made this post in another thread but it was a bit misplaced. Shane does look awfully big compared to PBF but it got me wondering.. what's everybody's thoughts about what kind of fight plan they're coming in with purely based on their appearances. Thread will probably be redundant if each fighter goes and gains massive amounts from now to the fight in any case! Call it as you see it..

Trying to judge physical strength using only appearance as a barometer I would say that -

Floyd is significantly smaller than Shane in the mid and lower back as well as across the chest. Floyd does seem to have more thickness in his upper back across the traps compared to Shane carrying most of his width across his lats. Floyd has a lot of thickness around the neck and traps, especially compared to the rest of his body. Should help take a shot IMO

Floyd seems to have a significantly smaller fist despite having only a slightly smaller wrist. Haven't seen much to judge the condition of either fighters' legs.

Overall, it looks like Shane is MUCH bigger but with only a pound difference between the two, it might be a matter of Floyd having more density to his bones or more densely packed muscle. That said, it looks like Mosley almost came in with a '100 push-up pump.'

Conclusion - Shane's definitely the stronger guy but his width across the chest and shoulders and lower + mid back aren't conducive with great upper body movement, quick feints etc. Looks like he is going to try to outhustle Floyd. Can't see much to his tricep either - looks like he's built for attrition than explosive punching.

Floyd is smaller but it's not very significant IMO. Shane is stronger though also and that could be significant, but Mayweather is a good step up on Shane in the speed category.

I think Floyd gets the UD, but there's a part of me pulling for Shane.

    Both looked good.

And Ellerbe was doing his usual job of creeping everybody out.

    Both looked good.

But Mayweather was not talking to Mosley. He talked a lot to Hatton at the weigh-in.

Mayweather looked a bit timmid to me. Like he could not get to Mosley.

Both looked in great shape, but I'm still going with a Mosley victory tomorrow. Looking forward to a good fight.

I hope that was the case. But in all probablity, it wasn't.

Mayweather is never fazed or mentally distracted in lead up to a fight. He's a consummate professional

I was at the weigh in... A few things to add from the HBO/Youtube feed:

    - Lots of boos for Mayweather although there was a definite change in atmosphere/electricity when he was being introduced and walking to the stage.
    - Berto picked Mayweather to win the fight and it didn't seem to bother Mosley as the two of them had a warm embrace a couple of minutes later when Mosley walked to the stage.
    - Ricky Hatton is the man! Looked fatter than ever and seemed to be in a good mood. Probably wasted
    - Mayweather's bodyguards punked off Shane and his crew at the end when they were trying to leave the stage before Mayweather. A couple of them went over and blocked Shane from going anywhere so Mayweather and team could leave the stage
    - WTF, the Alvarez/Cotto fight is now at jr middleweight?? Poor Cotto is a small JWW; this fight is even more of a mismatch than it was yesterday

Why would Mayweather leave before Mosley?

Leave the stage and I don't know. Mayweather didn't hang around much after. The microphone wasn't working so he cut off the interview short and wanted to get out of there.

Not anything major I don't think - one of those "I'm gonna make you wait for me" as opposed to "I'll wait for you" kinda things probably.

It didnt seem like a lot of boos at the weigh in... There were more cheers for Mosley and half of the people their didnt seem to know who Berto was. Thats kind of shocking...

Joe Cal got know love when introduced in the beginning... Barrera brought the building to a roar...

Jack Mosley...the nicest guy you ever want to meet :good

Uncle Roger is really a cool guy...just will stand there and talk to you and laugh...When I asked what was going to happen tomorrow he just looks at you laughs and says "you just watch what happen" I said well are ya'll going to get him(Mosley)...he said "Well somebody got to...hey you take it easy man...then he went on his way..."

Just my 2 cents from the weigh in...

May have been where I was sitting because I heard a lot of boos for Mayweather.

Brother Nazim is cool as **** too. He was lingering around the main elevators last night when I was checking in. I got a picture with him and was joking with him a little bit. He had a towel hanging from his pants and I asked if he was going to start towel whipping peeps, he laughed and told me I didn't want any part of the towel to which I agreed. :D
