By the way everyone.....SAVE THE LINK AND NUMBER.

East Side Boxing usually slows down the night of big fights so it may be tough to access the message board.

I'm hoping people call in afterwards.

Props if you call in drunker than I'll be.

I hope it is an avatar bet for at least six months. :D

Then you can run a poll on the best choice from some you select.

    No.

I have too many on-going avi bets.

However, one thing is certain for everyone who heard Jenna's unwarranted attack against me at the end of the last episode:

One of us will be eating some major crow.

She deserves to pay some price if she is wrong, but God have mercy on your soul if she is right, coz she certainly won't be showing you any mercy.

When I'm wrong I admit it.

If I'm wrong, then that means Floyd is much tougher than I believe him to be.

The first time I was invited on OTR was to provide my views on Winky-Williams--a fight I mistakenly thought Winky would win.

I came on the next week, ate some crow, admitted I was wrong, and spoke my mind--Williams was better than I gave him credit for.

Hell, I can never be more wrong on a fight than when I penned the article "De La Hoya will inevitably school Pacquiao".

    :rofl:rofl:rofl

I admit when I'm wrong. I'd be surprised if I am this time, though.

I've actually done fairly well picking big fights lately (Martinez over Pavlik, Ward over Kessler, Dirrell over Abraham), and this is one that I've long pondered over the years. It's been a dream fight for me.

I stand by every word I wrote in my Six Myths Article.

That is an excellent article, irrespective of the outcome of the fight.

Well laid out arguments, devoid of bull****.

I have a small sum riding on the outcome of the fight, I backed Shane because the odds were so good, I feel like putting some more on him now after reading that article. :D

Thank you for the kind words. I sincerely appreciate it.

    :cheers

I thought long and hard about this fight, and I truly believe every word I wrote in that piece.

Good luck, man. I was going to place a bet on Mosley myself, which woulld have been the first time I bet on a boxing fight in over five years.

Good luck in your bet, and here's to hoping we get a good fight.

    :good

For the record, I'm shocked by the odds. Whenever I did bet on boxing I only did so on single matches when I thought there was a live underdog with out of wack odds (Mosley-Forrest I, Byrd-Tua, Hopkins-Trinidad, and Tyson-Williams jump to mind).

This is that type of fight.

Shane should never be that big of an under dog against anyone, IMHO.

For better or worse, not only do I believe Shane will win, I believe it may well be easy and turn into a one-sided mismatch.

If I'm wrong, Jenna is going to annoy the hell out of me on that post-fight show.

    :lol::good
