    That's why there was such a long hesitation before the fight was signed by Mayweather. He couldn't believe that ****.

    Maybes its just me and me not thinking to clear right now, but I didn't see anywhere in the link that Floyd asked for 20%

    The only way to really know if he got cut is to know what the original agreement was to be before the contract was actually signed.

    edit:

    nevermind, now i see what the original poster meant. If Shane agreed then obviously Shane needed Floyd more than Floyd needed Shane. Am I wrong?

    Of course it is, but Mayweather is makin 3 times the amount that Mosley is makin.

    You think Pac would accept that kinda raw ass deal?

    I mean Shane ain't Mayweather or Pac, but he's no Marquez.

    So because Mosley who's proven himself to be far from a major draw gets 24% not 20% like you have in your title. Floyd is trying to not get the fight?

    I don't know bout that ****.

    I just know what was stated in the contract which was "regardless of PPV buys," Mayweather gets 22.5 and Mosley gets 7.

    The initial contract was about 80/20.

    I thought it was funny when people said Shane was only gettin 30% because I didn't believe that ****, but now I found this out.
