Shane will make 7 mil. Floyd will make 22.5 million. Does it matter who wanted/didn't want the fight? NEWSFLASH: THEY'RE FIGHTING, JACKASS.

    God. Some. People.

if pbf is getting 22.5 and shane is getting 7 then it's hardly a 50/50 split, no matter if it's Shane's biggest pay day or not.

The amount is not the point of contention, it's the split.

There have been a number of threads starting with the word 'PROOF' recently...yet everytime I have clicked on these threads, have they produced even a tiny bit of evidence to support the subject matter? NO.
These threadstarters will insert a link which will provide some fact, and then write there opinion...which in there eyes is fact/proof.

What you have done is show how much each boxer is guaranteed for this bout...and that is all you have done. You have expanded on these figures with your opinion.

The next thread that starts with the word 'PROOF', I won't be clicking on it. :patsch

Of course it matters, you and your buddies rob a bank and the three of them get 95% and you get 5%, that's cool with you because it's still a **** load of money?

How many fights are genuine 50/50 splits? How much do you think Clottey got in comparison to Pacquiao? It's undeniable that Floyd is the one bringing in the PPV's in this one.

Do you think Shane will still be able to feed himself with that $7m?

**** - that is serious money - who cares who gets more?

Shane's smart enough to realise that he's the b-side in this fight. He's made a lot of money already and he gets more by being a partner in GBP. He'll probably end up making more than Mayweather, esp if Mayweather wins and goes on to fight Pac.

Of course, I was saying that in principle it matters what the split is.

    Based on facts.

    Yeah, what an idiot.

You can come to your own conclusion about what happened, but fact is, Mayweather was talkin about Hatton's brother before the fight, and if he bitched out on an 80/20 contract with Shane, people would be sayin, "*****."

No way around it. Like Shane said, he didn't have a choice. He needed the fight.

This is opinion, but 80/20, those the facts.

I'm just glad the fight is happening.

But I really thought it was a joke when people were sayin Shane agreed to 70/30, and then I find out it's more like 80/20.

    Just made me
