Shane should be a larger draw than he is. We need more boxing fans in our country. Shane's losses have been timed terribly and cost him 10's of millions. He deserves huge props for fighting Vernon Forrest but what the hell were his advisers thinking?

This kind of makes me laugh, because lets assume that the fight reaches the magical 4 million PPV mark of Richard Scaffer. That means Floyd will get his 60 million, but that also means that Mayweather could easily demand 60/40 from Pacquiao and Pacquiao would be a fool not to accept.

If it fight does 2 million and Floyd wins: 55/45 minimum:deal
    3 million: 60/40 minimum:deal
    4 million: 70/30 minimum:deal

The man is already the top draw in boxing and now if his numbers with Shane blow Pac/Cotto out water with his already establish head to head ppv advantage with commom opponents then Pac is going to take or leave it.

Just imagine for a second if Floyd/Shane does anywhere near Schaefer's projection of 4 million what will a Floyd/PAC fight do? 8-10 million and they say boxing dead!:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

I think 1.5 to 2.1 ppv sales is more realistic tonight than 4 million.

No question but I'm just analyzing the possibilities.

I'm pretty sure if Floyd does 2 mill tonight and wins he'll be asking for a 60/40 split.

The black community is all over this fight. 2 mill easy. They were right when they said they tapped that market. Everybody is either throwing a fight party or looking for one to go too. More so than that Pac/Clottey BS.

Those estimate are just the minimums I think he will settle for. I'm sure he will ask for more.

I think this fight will do big numbers. I going conservatively though 1.75-2.25 million. I have been monitoring all of the major social networking and other media marketing sites and there is a major buzz about this fight. Your right I think the fight will do extremely well in the major urban centers. The key is how well it does in the suburban centers will hold the answer to whether or not you're going to see 3 or 4 million buys.
