Mosley is 10/3 (+333 or 4.33) for the win in this fight. Those are really good odds considering the calibre of SSM.

Are these odds flattering Mayweather or do you think that's realistic of Shanes shot at the win?

I'm well aware the Floyd is the big favourite and he's my choice for tonight but with those odds, it may be worth a bit of a punt.

they just show what people bet

i.e. the odds reflect the bets that come in, the bookies make their dough from the vig

i think they're underestimating mosley, but at the same time, i don't believe he'll beat floyd.

Yeah, that's kind of my thinking on it, they are underestimating but not enough for me to risk much money on it.

Still £20 would get me something like £85, so it's not a bad flutter.

Odds only reflect what the public think not the bookies, I think maybe the joe public are under estimating Mosley a little.

The odds are decent. I had Mayweather absolutely cruising to a decision against De La Hoya and somehow the judges made a split decision out of it. So if Mosley hangs in there for the twelve then he might get the nod, especially since he probably fades less than Oscar.

Yeah, good point ... most people hear the name Mayweather and just assume he will beat anyone in front of him. Especially in the UK.

I think the money men behind the scenes will make sure a decision doesn't go Mosleys way ... there is far too much money to be made in a Pac-Mayweather fight after tonight.

Mayweather was short odds when the first shows come out. The odds haven't actually changed much at all, you could get 10/3 against Mosley at the start of February.

yeah, i think he has a more of a chance than the odds they're offering, which is the same sort of odds they offered for gatti to beat floyd, but he's still likely to lose IMO. best bet is probably to either do floyd to win by decision at odds 1/2, or the fight to go the distance with either fighter winning, which is odds at something like 2/9.

I wonder what the odds will be against Pacquiao if Mayweather looks dominant against Mosley?

floyd will be favourite, he'll probably turn out to be somewhere in the region of a 8/13 favourite.

I've got a fiver on Mayweather to win on decision. Absoultly shocking odds but it's got to happen..
