Kessler. He has more facets to his game than Pavlik. Kelly can only fight going forward, but Kessler was able to push a strong SMW like Froch onto the backfoot for large portions of their fight, so I don't see him having too many problems with Pavlik wearing him down over the course of a fight - he'll not have to backpeddle for the whole fight. Plus Kessler has an excellent chin; he should be able to box Pavlik for a decision.
Not spectacular. But good enough to beat Pavlik at SMW, where I assume such a fight would take place.
Pavlik would KO kessler in 5 rounds. Way too much power in his punches. Kessler has never been in the ring w/ anybody who has real power.
This is not true. If you think it is, then please show me some tape of Kessler stuttering his jab, tripling up a lead left hook, changing the trajectory of a right hand in mid-flight, spinning a left hook into an uppercut, throwing a lead right/left uppercut combo, or throwing a lead right - left hook - left uppercut combination. Recent reports on Pavlik's weight make it pretty clear he'll never see 160 again. His weight jumped to 192 pounds a mere 2 weeks after he weighed in a 159.5. I'm pretty sure he'll have to move up now. Pavlik matches up quite well with Kessler, and I'd make hime the favorite over Froch, Abraham, and Green.
