I'm undecided. The problem lies in where you ranked Hasegawa beforehand. He has excellent skills and displayed a great level of dominance at bantamweight, without really getting any big wins. If you had him in the top 10 before the fight, then a top 10 ranking for Montiel is obviously justifiable. For some reason, I am having a problem ranking him that high because of the method of his win, which seems stupid to me but it's what is playing on my mind. He was getting outboxed for the first 3 rounds and basically changed the tide with one big punch. All I can keep thinking about when trying to place Montiel is him getting raped in a rematch, even though that wouldn't necessarily be true. He's a good fighter though no doubt, definately top 20.
Montiel is about there have to say that his win over hasegawa was a victory over elite talent and does mean something.
Where is the original thread? Would like to see how this voting thing goes. Btw, great job at making this list. :good

Your list is incomplete without Adamek in the top 10. if he aint doing what a pound for pound fighter should then these list's have no cred!
I kind of hear what your saying in a historic sense its a very good accomplishment to win a LH title,Cruiser and get the win over a legit top heavy, however that win wasnt to convincing imo(although his disciplined was admirable). I can kind of see people ranking Haye,Adamek high on PFP list, but its hard for me to rank them high since i think both are vulnerable at heavyweight. If Arreola was in better shape he would have no doubt kod Adamek (no fault of TOmaszs).
Aint no "what if's" only what is. Aint no way you can tell me that someone like Donaire has done more. Like i said if Adamek aint doing what a P4P fighter is supposed to do then this list aint complete. P4P #1 carries great meaning but beyond that it becomes a subjective list.
Well hey all i can say is you guys voted:yep on this one and 22 voters makes up a variety of opinions and people from all over, however i will acknowledge this was before Adameks decision over Arreola. A fight i thought was even.
in the fight Adamek was hurt... the news of the fight was that Cris lost the fight he only trained 5 weeks for the fight and not 8 plus he took a week off during his camp.... besides adamek got spanked by dawson
Yes... Cris said he trained 8 weeks In reality the duration of camp was six weeks long with a week off in which cris did anything but box...
The point is Adamek is hype... he cant beat a real heavyweight The guy ran... he cant run from Vlad or Vitali.. I can understand as you might rate him higher than what he really is due to you being Polish but seriously Adamek is nothing special.
