    Watch Khan v Malignaggi on ITV live from New York
    Published: Friday, 30 April 2010, 5:13PM

    ITV1 will broadcast live coverage of Amir Khan’s WBA world title defence against Paulie Malignaggi from New York’s Madison Square Garden in the early hours of Sunday May 16th.

    The fight, against Brooklyn-based Malignaggi, is Bolton-born Khan’s second defence of his WBA world light-welterweight title and his first ever to be held in the United States.

    Presenter Jim Rosenthal will be ringside at the world famous boxing venue, alongside former world champion Barry McGuigan. John Rawling and Duke McKenzie provide commentary.

    Coverage will begin at 0245 BST on ITV1. The fight will be repeated later in the morning of Sunday 16th May at 1030BST and on ITV4 at 1930BST.

    ITV Controller of Sport, Niall Sloane said: “We are delighted to bring ITV viewers Amir Khan’s first USA outing in defence of his title from the legendary Madison Square Garden.”

    exiting maybe but boxing it isnt they need to give up the pair of them to much balls for there own good

    their both still highly skilled,i kind of agree though,their too brave but id rather them fight each other for decent money than just became a scalp on a lesser fighters resume

    so is it 2.45am start with them showing Ortiz vs Campbell and then Khan vs Malignaggi. I hope so. They can show good undercard fights afterwards.

    Then again, what the **** are they showing at 2 in the morning. They can put some fights on.

    The HBO cards usually start at 2:30am our time, so hopefully the Ortiz fight is included.

    It will be Sat 15th May in America, it will be Sunday morning 2:30am here, so the 16th.

    Yeah because Froch or Haye are much less interesting than King Con... :lol::nut
