Maybe not 19 other cruisers, but I can probably name you at least 10 that would definatly beat Huck.

The whole fight Huck was looking for one big shot. He was just staying there on the inside doing nothing just looking for opportunity. He wouldn't have got away with it against any guy with good hook.

Yeah I think there are at least 20 cruisers that would knock Huck out, and apparently his promotional team thinks the same thing, since his last two defenses have been against Brian Minto and the Swamp Donkey. Both were low level heavies coming down and hadn't even established themselves in the cruiser division yet.

And yes his accuracy was extremely low except with the jab. Most of his power shots went by Mintos head or they slapped him.

edit: well, maybe it's to far to say they would knock him out, he does have a good chin. But beat him, definitely.

I keep looking at the list of active CW fighters and I can't find more than 5 people who would be competitive against Huck. That's an overstatement and you know it. Huck might not be elite, but he's no bum as you present him to be.

About the fight: If Huck can make Minto look like that, drop him three times and stagger him on other occasions, and all that with an extremely low percentage, then he must be a powerhouse.

    1. Steve Cunningham - already did it

    2. Denis Lebedev - Denis would BRUTALLY KO Huck. Denis's sheer power, uppercuts and chin would outlast Huck and break him down.

    3. Krzysztof Wlodarczyk - way more technical ability and power than Huck. He also beat the man who Huck lost to

    4. Alexander Alexeev - This would probably be 60/40 in favor of Alexander only cause he kinda lost his "soul" in the Ramirez fight, but he DEFINATLY has more technical ability, a well established jab, and 1 punch KO power.

    5. BJ Flores - Definatly has WAY more technical ability than Huck and could easily outbox him if properly motivated and in shape. Sadly hes now taking the "MMA route"

    6. Grigory Drodz - Tough Russian who is comming of a BRUTAL beating that he handed to, tough chinned Darnell Wilson.

7-9. Pawel Kolodziej, Mateusz Masternak, Alexander Frenkl - These guys are all real good prospects that poscess way more skills than Huck does. Kolodziej is a 6'5 Cruiserweight with a pretty nice punch and a nice crisp jab. Mateusz Masternak also has a good jab and good technical ability to hang with anyone in CW. Frenkl is also a good prospect with a high KO percentage and good cominations, while Huck throws looping punches.

Maybe not now, but I do belive if Pawel, Alexander and Mateusz get about 1or2 more fights vs. a caluibur opponent like Macca, Brudov or Tokarev to proove themselves, id definalty favor them over Huck.

You said 'at least 10' and you had a hard time coming up with 9.

Anyway, I agree with Cunningham of course, Lebedev and Wlodarczyk. Alexeev and Flores would definitely have a good chance as well. Other than that, I would favour Huck vs anyone else @ CW.
