Shane was all over cotto amazing that fight was given to cotto.... Floyd is really in for it tonight.
Shane made it very close, but his gameplan was all wrong early and he took too long to respond. He was expecting Cotto to be pressuring, but Cotto was boxing aggressively instead. Shane didn't think Cotto would be so good at counter-punching.
I had that fight a draw,i think cotto caught the eye a bit more but i thought it could have gone either way..
Regardless of who won, I really didn't like the way Shane fought that night and it had nothin' to do with what Cotto was doin'. Shane was just looking to land big shots and outmuscle Cotto for 12 rounds...Bad..really bad game plan. Mosley should have let his hands go and thrown many more combos with his usual power-boxing style, every round just to connect or land on somethin' without trying to cause the maximum effect. If Mosley fights against Mayweather the way he did with Cotto, then he's gonna get schooled. He needs to keep Money man on the back foot fighting defensively while not being able to throw enough in order to conclusively win the rounds...
i had shane winning by a round, the only way to beat cotto at MSG is to knock him out because you're never going to get a decision, which mosley was close to doing if there wasn't that bul**** stoppage by the ref when mosley hurt him. mosley did think he won the fight, after the fight he said that he thought he won and alot of people though that he did win, for mosley thats as good as saying i got robbed.
I had it a draw. But Mosley def inflicted more damage on Cotto then Cotto did on him. A prime Mosley woulda killed Cotto.
Antwuan Maxx please show him the gif image where it clearly shows that it was Mosley who asked the ref to put a pause on the fight.
