I'm a sucker for those series regardless of if they drag out, which they usually always do, due to greed. Prison Break, Lost, Sopranos, The Wire, Dexter.........****
I think they thought they were onto a good thing and decided to completely rip the arse out of it. They just went too far. "The Wire" and "The Shield" are pretty good and consistent until the end. But with a series called "Prison Break", surely once the guys actually break out of the prison, at the end of season 1, you shouldn't need three more seasons and a TV movie to wrap things up. Its just corporate greed.:-(
No, no worries. I remember losing interest and losing the storyline a bit last time but it might help that I can watch episodes whenever I want now rather than having to wait a week for them to be shown on tele. I'll give it a go and probably have the ''I've started I'll finish'' attitude
I've not seen "The Wire" but "The Shield" was good. Its the ones with a definate story to tell, rather than a lot of largely independent episodes, that they tend to **** up.
I remember back in high school there was a lot of hype over "Prison Break". Really enjoy "The Wire" but I'm only halfway through series 2 but cba watching it atm. Anyone watch "Weeds"? That's starting to drag on.
Prison Break deserved hype for Season 1. That was excellent, compelling stuff. It all got a bit ridiculous in a second prison atsch
Did you see/hear that Shane from the Shield is in the new Predator movie? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9u8vZwvP57Y[/ame] BTW I highly recommend watching the Wire.
Season 1 is incredible even 2nd time round. Leave it long enough to forget the story line and it's great. A bit farfetched but you have to allow for that with American drama stuff.
The wire is my fave show of all time, wait till u get to season 3, best season of any show. Anyone watch The Shield and does anyone have a link for episode 2 of 24/7
