My how the momentum has shifted. What can Pacquiao say now?

Maybe but thanks to Mayweather SR. there will be a stain by pacman's name. Pacman is a great fighter no doubt and deserves respect but if he has nothing to hide then why not just take the tests, CLEAR YOUR NAME, and win the fight? The "scared of needles" and "weakness from blood drawn" and all that excuses have been eliminated. Why not just make this fight for the sake of boxing fans everywhere? He has good names (conditions and ages of those fighters not taken into account), but this fight would be great. Shane took the tests and pacquiao can do the same. The tests are fair, and they wait until your training for the day is OVER.

Pacquiao has already cemented his legacy at the lighter weights. I'd say fighting and losing to Floyd would do little to hurt his legacy. It would just boost Floyd's. Not fighting though... that would hurt his legacy a lot more. Because.. it would look like he's ducking.

Now, Pacquiao is a warrior and you can bet he'd go and fight Floyd tomorrow if he could. But there are politics in boxing. I just hope politics don't screw up the chances of this fight happening.

Floyd has definitely gained ground in terms of negotiations. Floyd just put on a dominant display against one of the best fighters of his era. That said, Floyd will still be generous and agree to 50/50 just to make the fight happen. Honestly, the best thing Pacquiao can do is not fight Floyd. Floyd will embarrass him.

Really now? so how about a shot ODLH, a bloated lightweight Marquez and a lot of bum welterweights? is that a good legacy to leave? I don't think so... Pac still has the better resume, and you can't argue with that. And I think you are delusional, Money can't KO Pac, he may win by points but never a KO. So keep on dreaming.

He can say "yes" to the fight.

It's the biggest fight in the sport in years, and frankly, I won't be happy with either man if it doesn't happen. Fights like Mayweather-Pac are so epic, that if it doesn't happen, both guys might as well hang them up because nothing else is on the same level of prestige and importance. I'd like to think it's too big to fall throgh, but I know better than to get my hopes up that much.

This is exactly my sentiment. There's honestly NO OTHER FIGHT for either guy. Seriously. This fight is so much bigger than the sport, it's so much bigger than just blue collar fights. This is a fight that the world must see. It will transcend boxing on an unimaginable way. Needs to ****ing happen.

    I can't disagree? It's called a discussion. For example:

Me: Hey what do you guys think of Avatar?
    Dude: It rocked.
Me: Really? I thought the story was unoriginal.
Dude: Yeah but the visual effects were amazing.
Me: True, but the weak story kind of ruined it for me.

However in your world it goes...

Me: Hey what do you guys think of Avatar?
    Dude: It rocked.
Me: Really? I thought the story was unoriginal.
Dude: Screw you then why'd you ask!?

I guess that I am not allowed to ask an opinion unless I am prepared to agree with every post?

I won't remember Pac as anything other than the guy who categorically avoided rigorous drug testing.

    :rofl

Yeah maybe Shane can cash in one more time, but sadly I think that Shane can still beat Pacquiao even after tonight.

It should be 55-45 in favour of Mayweather.

one good win over a 38 year old mosley and joyboys are already having an orgasm. and only joyboys would believe that floyd deserve a 70-30 split over pacquiao. he will use this olyympic style testing and the split to avoid a possible pac fight. he knows pac is not an old shane mosley.

That is only fair for both fighters. I do think Floyd has earned a 50/50 split in the fight. No one should get no more than the other unless it was a rematch.
