What could a young shane mosley throwing that punch do different than a 38 year old mosley in early ROUND 2.

The question needs to be asked WHY Didn't HE Throw any follow up shots?

 

Shot Mosley landed 2 flush shots and almost knocked him out. A younger, faster, better reflexes Shane lands a lot more.

 

it wasn't the best punch in the world you know? yet see what it did to floyd. props to him though, he recovered well and toughed it out.

That's a fact. He has shown heart in the past and he showed it tonight.

That's a fact. Nobody has been able to penetrate his D.

That's a fact. Let's analyze the Mosley-Margarito fight, Margarito took those same bombs for 9 rounds. Floyd took a couple and was hurt badly. Does that mean he has a glass jaw? No of course not, but he does have an average jaw, and looking at his fights in the past when he does get hit cleanly he doesn't take all that well.

 

I truly believe that those punches put any other guy at 147 down at least. It is simply miraculous that Floyd didn't go down.

 

That's an absurd comment. Shane doesn't usually knock out fighters with one punch like that, early in fights. They were really hard shots though, and Mayweather was really rocked. He made it through though, and completely took control. Shane seemed like he could never regain his composure after that.

 

Margarito took those bombs in the first few rounds and smiled!! It looked like floyd was going to be stopped for a second there, but he re-grouped and put on a masterful boxing performance! I was suprised how easily he beat shane after the second round!!

You hear the smack sound from that punch. I was going nuts.

 

Those shots are what made round 3 so amazing. Floyd took the hardest shots of his career and then decided to whoop Shane Mosley around the ring the entire next round. The confidence he has in himself is ridiculous.

 

I'm not a part of either nutsack lover faction, but there is a difference between getting caught by Juan Manuel Marquez vs being caught by Shane Mosley.

How would Pac have taken a shot like that? We will never know because he wouldn't fight Shane without asking him to drain to 140.

 

This just shows Margarito's chin was never overrated. He's iron.
