Shane Mosley, who's been in a handful of huge fights, would become tired as a result of nervousness....

...It just doesn't ring true to me.

    :good

Mosley was really tired after Mayweather landed a nasty body shot in one of the later rounds.

Why are people acting like Mosley is Butterbean, Briggs, or Tony Galento now? Mosley got his asswhipped. Get over it.

I'm unsure if Mosley had suitable sparring partners in the lead up to this fight.

Mosley did not look shot in there to me at all, but his legs have definetely loosened up.

He was admiring his work too much in the 2nd to even continue to fight the gameplan, its as if just rocking Mayweather was a victory in itself. Just like it was for Clottey to survive 12 rounds against Pac.

I'd recommend you rewatch the fight. I think they'll be some online tomorrow so you haven't got to wait to long, but if you look at the footage, you'll see Mosley is inordinately tired after 6-7 minutes of combat, nothing he's ever experienced before in his professional career from my recollection.

Mosley lost, but the result is another issue, I'm trying to understand why Shane would be so tired so early on.

are you suggesting a combination of previously relying on epo to boost his stamina, and secondly the blood testing so close to the fight?

I'm not suggesting anything. I'm posing the questions to members of the forum. The fact we have some people denying Mosley was indeed tired this early is still concerning, however. It's almost as if they didn't watch the fight.

I believe the the nervousness does have some merit in it. During the staredown you could shane's lip just shaking with anxiety.

I take it that this is the first time you've seen Mosley fight.

There's round 3. Please show me where Mosley appears 'inordinately tired'.

its obvious that the TS had never wrapped up his hands before. every fighter knows how important a warm up is before a fight. ssm didnt get the warm up he needed, as soon an his handwraps were clear he jumped in the ring without a proper warm up in hin dressing room. mwj was warmed up and good to go. ssm is old and lost his touch.
