Within a decent time frame from the fight. 14 days seems fine. Pac should just do it for boxing? Nevada should step up and enforce it for this fight I think. Are we really not going to see this fight because Pac won't take this test? Floyd made his demands known. If Pac takes it we have the fight. Why can't this happen? If it doesn't, then it's going to be seen as Pac's fault. And you know what, rightfully so.

If shane was able to rock floyd in the 2nd round after taking 11-15 random drug screens....pacquiao's argument "I have a phobia" seems to go right the **** out the window...

why because floyd refused a 24 day cut-off? why not settle for 19 days to seal this fight with a 50-50 split right through the middle?

Seriously, I don't even think Manny has much to lose in this fight. If he loses, I don't think it would affect his legacy too much. It would take a hit for sure, but not a big one. Floyd has much more to lose IMO..

This fight has to be made. No more excuses.. Take the ****ing test Manny.

If I can't pronounce your name confidently, then your opinion is rendered invalid.

This win was a major victory for Floyd in the battle for negotiating leverage. No matter what the ppv number, I don't see Pac conceding a less than 50-50 split, however the final policy on testing will be something that he'll probably have to bend on.

There is only one reason Manny wouldn't take the test.

PBF should stop being the commission. IMO, Pac will only take the drug tests if it is warranted by the boxing commissions. If not, then I guess there will be no fight. Also, I'm pretty sure Pacqy is already settled now that he is poised to win a seat in the PI congress. Even without the PBF fight, pac can live like a king in the Philippines.

Mayweather needs to just drop the demands, right?

It works both ways. Hopefully they will compromise.

Team Pacquiao sounds like they already conceded they will have to give in random drug testing, and asking anything more than 14 days cutoff will look bad on their part now.

But will Mayweather ask for something more given the change of circumstance since December?

I can see Mayweather changing his stance to 60-40 now, but we'll see.

I agree 100%....Win, Lose, Or Draw...Manny will still have his resume and legacy largely intact.....If he loses all it will do is set-up a endless debate on who is ranked higher ATG...Manny or Floyd......Manny nutsack riders will say his resume trumps floyd's....floyd fans will argue he won the head to head...

Imo at the moment they are about even.....Mayweather went from 130-154....and the gaps between those weight classes are wider then the lower ones.....Manny has achieved acclaims that are record-breaking too.....Niether guys has anything to prove, but mayweather has more to lose....

Either Pacquiao needs to take the tests, or Mayweather needs to let go of his unprecedented (until the Mosley fight) drug testing demands. NO matter what way you look at it, or who's side you're on, this is a fight that HAS to happen.
