Manny's southpaw style is not problematic for Floyd

  1. Nor is anything else that Manny does a problem for Floyd. Manny won't be able to win early rounds like Zab did, because Manny isn't that same style of fighter. Manny doesn't throw that sharp, fast jab like Zab did to set up his shots, and he sure doesn't protect himself after he throws shots.

Manny would come in throwing multiple shots and Floyd would simply pick him off. He'd counter Manny all night long for as long as it lasted. You thought JMM countered Manny well? Floyd would make Manny look even worse than JMM did at times.

You think Manny can hurt Floyd, really? Tonight's event should clear that right up. Fact is, even if you can land a good shot on Floyd, he doesn't allow you to follow up with anything else....because he's smart.

Manny may be as physically in shape as Floyd, and have excellent stamina, but Manny has always had several flaws....flaws that will lead to him getting beat by Floyd.

I will add to this thread if/when this fight gets closer to being signed. I just wanted to go on the record, and make my stance known.

Floyd foils what his opponents want to do to him...Manny would be no different.

Whatever you say. Great foot-speed, angles, unpredictable combinations, hand-speed, power and a relentless attack are a nightmare for Floyd.

From a technical perspective, his defence is less effective against a southpaw. He can't "roll" the straight left hand.

nah i gotta say your wrong here....i still figure Floyd to beat pac but that southpaw stance is a problem....but Floyd will adjust as always to the fighter.

  5. Not really. He beat both easily. Maybe you should rewatch those fights.

  6. Manny's unconvential ways will do nothing but get him beat up. Manny has terrible habits of jumping in off balance and also bouncing up and down right in front of his opponent. Two things for sure Floyd would key in on. But, we can't all agree. Which is why I made this thread. So when I'm right, I can bump it.
