team pac has a case. even if floyd-shane grossed over 1.5M PPV, who will floyd fight that will get him the amount of money that a pac fight will? besides it's not only PPV, pac has been on the mainstream long enough to deserve an equal sharing if not more. he was able to pull the 3rd highest indoor crownd in US history with an unknown (mainstream) clottey as his dancing partner. floyd should know better not to demand a split that would trouble the negotiations.

No one, but that goes both ways.

If Pac and team want that extra 10% (despite it being clearly in favor of Floyd getting 60/40) then that's on them, not Mayweather.

And this would be vice versa if Clottey-Pac did over a mil.

come on dude he is way smarter than rjj in the ring and way more defensive minded than roy keep my hands down buy my waist jones. granted the reflexes and speed play a role in his success but thats obvious. his mental capacity, defense and the way he adjust to his opponents style is quite amazing. as a boxing fan i like watching the guy work. i skip all that wwf 24/7 bull****, i like him in the ring and post fight interview which technically is still in the ring lol

Pac does not come forward. He circles around his opponent and throw punches in every angles plus the fact that he's left handed. Soutpaws had given Floyd trouble. Ask Zab Judah.

i agree pac circles beautifully and i think zab is the wrong person to ask he got his ass whipped. it seems to me once floyd adjust to your rhythm and pacing its over for you. your best bet is to do what shane tried in round 2 and hope it works b/c if you give him time to figure you out its over for you in a gatti style type ass whipping.

60-40 is a big jump of demand from 50-50. this kind of demands would just make the negotiations even harder not mentioning the unsettled drug testing dispute. if floyd would insist for a 60% sharing, it would more likely kill the fight negotiations.

    We'll see.

I doubt he ask for 60/40, it was a number I threw out there.

If he does ask for more, he has every right to if justified but he could only get so much more.

  10. marquez was a unknown in 2004 when he fought pac the first time so it's a bit silly mentioning the first fight when it was the first fight that gave marquez better credability and bigger stage to shine on. a dont really give a **** about ppv numbers anyway what i care about is boxing and i have no doubt that floyd would **** manny up.

I think there will be some bitiching a whining from both sides right off the bat again....I really dont see a problem with the purse split....However, if the ppv numbers are astronomical from mosley-floyd, like topping 2 million buys...then floyd has a strong case for something larger then 50-50.....but I really don't think he will ask for more money....

The question will be is if pacquiao will get tested the week of the fight?....the 24/7 showed mosley got screened the week of the fight...and was able to rock floyd in round 2...Pac's argument of it might weaken me, falls flat after seeing mosley doing that....Roach said earlier that they would test 5 days up to the fight, and then **** storm began....I think floyd will ask for atleast one test a week before the fight....

Actually, because I am very tired the first fight wasn't even PPV.

The second fight, when Manny was a star, and JMM had gained national attention, did 500,000. (I think)

I always thought Pac would go through Mayweather but im starting to think differently on the subject, its to close to call, im thinking now is mayweather a little bit to cute for Pac.
If the purse is right and Pac ducks because of the drug testing i will probably say that Pac has been on the PEDS.
